As she tried to mouth words again, I ignored her and turned toward the sycophantic crowd around her.
I recognized every single one of them.
"David Miller, the rising star from Dawn Studios, Emma Roberts, lead actress at Earth Films..."
As I calmly named them one by one, the guests froze in place—I hadn't missed a single one.
Summit Pictures dominated the industry. Every other studio all fell in line behind it.
I swept a cold gaze across the crowd, "Starting today, Summit Pictures will see to it that each of your studios blacklists you. Permanently!"
The crowd were stunned at first, then burst into laughter, crowding around Vivian to mock me.
"Is this guy delusional? First, he tries to hit on Vivian, and now he's threatening to blacklist A-list stars like us?"
"Stop daydreaming! Vivian hasn't even spoken—who do you think you are? I think this show is over. Director! Kick him out!"
Vivian's expression grew darker. My phone buzzed with another message.
