I ignored her threat and turned back to the crowd.
"You've all got it wrong. While Vivian may be the top actress Summit poured resources into, worth billions, but I'm the one who calls the shots at Summit Pictures. One word from me can end any career in this industry."
Liam looked shocked at first, then leaned against Vivian, laughing hysterically.

"Is he out of his mind?"
"I've worked at Summit lfor years—my wife runs the show! This guy probably doesn't even know where the studio is!"
I smirked but stayed silent. Everything—and everyone—I needed was already on the way.
Given Liam's position, the highest he'd ever met was the head agent. As the hidden owner, how would he have ever seen me?
The crowd joined in the laughter—all except Vivian, who was staring at me, furious.
I could tell she was scared now.

Just then, someone in the crowd shouted, "Our show is trending! The livestream viewer count just shot to number one!"
My daughter and I both looked at the large screen. Chloe seemed triggered—she burst into tears all over again.
