He felt weakened; his shoulders sagged as he groaned but still held on till Moon pulled out and held on to him, but his weight was much on her. Her hands gave way and he fell to the floor.
'Liam?"
'Alpha?"
'Liam!?"
The rest called in panic and concern but Alpha Rex only got startled before looking on.
'Liam?" She called, wanting to touch his face but Liam held her hand mid-way and shook his head at her.
'Don't." He shook his head, smiling weakly at her.

Appearing right in front of the pack house, which had a group of gossiping females, Alpha Victor startled them, and they began to scream at the sudden appearance of a handsome, elderly-looking stranger in their midst.
Looking straight into one of their eyes, he manipulated their mind. 'Take me to Liam."
Just like a fool, she walked ahead without a stop or a turn. Alpha Victor followed behind her without care, destabilizing anyone with the intention of coming after him.
Walking to his room, she stopped and pointed at the door. Nodding at her, he set her free, and realizing what she had done under the influence of manipulation, she shrieked and bit her trembling fingers before running out.
Not wanting to knock on the door to prepare him for his entrance, Victor bashed in, kicking the door open with a smirk on his face but he was met with an empty room.
Looking closely at the unmade bed, Victor gritted his teeth; the girl was here a few moments ago. He came to take his son back and nothing was stopping him from doing that.
Walking out of the room and keeping the door open, he looked around for another person to make use of when he heard the name ‘Diana'.
Walking slowly towards the not-so-whispering voice, his ears twitched as he paid excessive attention to their discussion.
'But how did she die?"
'I heard her mate strangled her."
'But isn't he supposed to feel the pain too?"
'Jayden said he had gone mental."
Not being able to control himself, Victor felt his legs moving towards them.
'Who is dead?" His eyes blazed, and his hands were slightly trembling.
'Alpha Victor." One of the men who recognized him called with wide eyes which screamed unbeliever.
'Alpha Victor?" Someone asked looking at the man whose eyes were now full of madness before jumping out of fright.
'Who is dead!?" His voice was hard; this time, he had grabbed the man by his neck, lifting him off the ground.
The man, whose airflow was restricted, could only violently tap on Alpha Victor's hand, his legs swinging in the air as he wheezed, desperate for the intake of air.
One of the men ran off in search of their Alpha, they had an invader.
'I heard her name is Diana." Another person blurted in desperation to free the man in Alpha Victor's grasp.
With a thud, the man fell off Victor's loosened hand as he stumbled backward.
'What did you say?" Victor stepped forward, towards the lady who stepped back even faster, her face in panic.
'I said her name is Diana." She felt her heart racing; her blood was rushing around her veins at such speed that she felt she would faint from the adrenaline.
Victor felt foreign, his heart ceased before beating even faster. He didn't love Diana the way he loves Liam but that didn't mean she was permitted to die. He didn't expect to get such a reaction, heck! He wasn't even expecting such news.
He imagined her dead body but it only made him sadder. What happened to the pendant he gave her? That should have surely helped in relieving the pain. Wasn't she with it?
Victor looked around but he only saw black with dots of white around him.
Seeing his shock state, the people around took that as a cue to run away for their dear life. Alpha Victor wasn't a joke to be messed with.
Soon news circulated about the invasion of the Rogue Alpha. Some versions are truer or more exaggerated than others.
Hitting his head on the wall, he yelled in agony. She was weak but she was his plan B if Liam didn't work out. She had the will but lacked the strength but that didn't mean he wasn't ready to push her through.
Looking at the wall, with a battle cry and vein poking out of his neck, he punched the wall, leaving a dent in it and his knuckles a little bloody and slightly swollen.
Walking like a wounded lion, his eyes wandered around, looking for whom to make a scapegoat.
The prison head walked towards him with boldness since no other guard was ready to face him alone.
'I suggest waiting in the guest room to be granted an audience with Alpha Victor." She faced him with boldness but her insides were trembling.
Alpha Victor paid her no mind, his eyes were focused ahead on the male guards far behind her. Teleporting himself to their midst, his hands grabbed the necks of two persons at once before teleporting back in front of the prison head guard, who stared in amazement at the speed at which Victor moved, his strength, and his ability.
'Take me to her." His eyes were red from trying to withstand his tears and emotions.
'We need the Alpha to see her first." Her eyes looked between the men in Victor's hands in concern.
'Really?" Alpha Victor smirked just like the devil and compressed his hand, snapping the neck of one of the guards.
The one, on the other hand, started struggling to be free.
'Take me to see my daughter." He finally said; his bloodshot eyes stared deep into her soul, and his ticking jaws made her nervous.
She was torn between saving a life or going against the protocol.

Harper, whose eyes were barely opened, looked straight at Kia.
'The next time you threaten the life of my baby, you won't find it funny," Kia warned her.
The door to the bay was pushed open and in came a panting man who didn't bother acknowledging the presence of others other than the Alpha went straight to the point.
'Al…Alpha Victor…is…here." He wheezed, and every one stood at attention.
