She stepped out of her hiding after waiting for a long time to see the end of his dramatic and heroic act.
'How do you feel now? Epic? Do you feel like a hero now?" She asked him, switching on the central light.
Moon groaned in pain, closing her eyes tight enough to resist the effect of the light on her eyes.
'A simple task and you screw it up." Diana was furious.
'She is still seated, I screwed nothing up." Aiden became cold and emotionless in seconds; the switch was quick, and even Moon was surprised and could not hide it.
'Shut the fuck up!" Diana's body shook, and her hair shook alongside her.
'You would have released her if she had agreed to go back to the Silverstone pack right?" She pointed her right index finger toward the direction she thought the Silverstone pack was in.
'Well, she refused to, so…"
*Slap!*
Moon had her eyes widened at the sound of Diana's palm hitting Aiden's flesh.
'Shut the fuck up! You are so useless! So fucking and utterly useless!" Diana's chest heaved, her eyes reddened.
Moon looked at Aiden and not once did he raise his hand to feel his now swollen face.
'Now I see why your father doesn't exactly fancy you and why you were an option to be chosen for me. Ha! I should consider killing you off if you will be so useless." She sneered at him, but Aiden didn't move an inch still; it felt like all his emotions were gone.
'Do you like her that much, huh?" Diana looked at Aiden's indifferent face and felt anger bubble up within her.
'Do you like her that much!? Answer me!" She yelled and pushed him repeatedly; he only went a few steps back with his lips still sealed.
'Yes." He responded, his eyes drifting to Moon's squinted eyes for a second before looking back at Diana's shocked face.
'WHAT!?"
Moon's heart stilled before beating loudly. ‘what's wrong with him?' She cringed, it felt weird and cringe that he would say that to her hearing and right in front of his mate.
'Are you that obsessed with her?" Diana went ahead to ask, she had tears at her lower lids ready to drop.
Moon rolled her eyes. What was the essence of asking the obvious knowing you'd get hurt?
'I like her," Aiden responded, his voice this time wasn't completely robotic.
'Whoa!" Diana covered her lips and turned her back to Moon and Aiden to put her emotions under check before rushing towards Moon.
'Let's see how you'd deal with this then." She smirked with tears in her eyes, putting him under her spell as she raised her hand to punch Moon in the face.
'Don't you dare!" Another voice ordered from the opposite door but before Diana could recover from the shock, Moon's hand was already meeting her stomach in a brutal blow that sent her flying to the other side of the room.

'Guards!" Liam yelled, and soon, half of them gathered by the door.
'Take them to grade 10. I will be dealing with them later." He directed without looking at any of them.
'What? You can't do that, Liam; I am with your baby!" Harper cried out, placing a hand on her stomach.
'And make sure to run a test on her, get me the result when I am back." He told no one in particular but separated themselves already, ready to carry out the task.
He held Aunt Olivia as tight as Kia held her. They couldn't afford to let her go wild, muttering incoherent words and doing things without being aware of it.
'You can't send me to the dungeon Liam!" Harper cried out.
'Dungeon!?" Steve and Joana asked at once, their eyes moving from the already crying Harper to the guards back to Liam, Kia, and Olivia.
'You can't be serious right?" Steve asked; his smile was awkward but he still smiled.
'You let my child go missing and the only thing you could do to remedy the situation is to put us in the dungeon!?" Joana had a look of unbelief on her face.
'This…all these is a joke right?" Steve asked again, looking at the none smiling faces of the guards who approached them in quick steps.
Serenity stepped in a few seconds later but could not bear to keep up her façade of being one of the senior guards on seeing Kia's face twisted in displeasure, Liam's face twisted in something similar to pain, and Aunt Olivia in an even worse position.
'Liam? Kia? What is going on?" She ran towards them, dropping all formalities and surprising the rest.
'Quick, let's take her to her room," Kia told Serenity, whose whole attention was still on Liam.
'Bring in more guards. My mate is in trouble, I need to get her back before it gets worse." Liam ordered.
'Your mate?" Serenity turned to ask before she could stop herself.
'Kia will fill you up." He responded without looking at Serenity, who had her whole attention on him.
'Take good care of her, Kia." I will be back.

Having decided that it was enough, Alpha Rex stood up from his seat and paced around his courtroom before stopping at the fading picture of his late Mate.
He knew he took an oath with Victor not to harm his direct descendants, but he needed all these to stop, even if it meant drawing a deal with any of the duo.
After thinking deeply, he decided it was best to visit the Blood Moon pack; talking with the little boy of years back who suddenly decided it was best to poison him seemed like the best option.
He didn't know how to go about this, but he knew one thing: he wasn't going with any of his pack members; not even the Beta would know about this.
Walking out till he got to the gate, he transformed into his wolf and jumped over the huge gates without stress.
