Seeing the woman get closer to her with her face etched with concern, Moon felt disgusted, and she shifted away from her hand. "Stay away from me." Moon glared at the middle-aged woman with grey hair.
"You don't look okay." The woman insisted.
"It shouldn't be any of your business!" Moon shouted.
Moon felt different; she felt like she was losing herself to an unknown force. She could not understand this new feeling; this emotion was weird, and it bit into her till she became unrecognizable.
Standing up with full force, she swung her hand towards the middle-aged woman who had a great semblance to her, making her shift away from the woman, giving her space to escape. Without looking to see if she hurt the woman or not, Moon ran off, banging the door behind her.
She didn't know where else to go except Liam's office.

Liam felt restless and he knew this restlessness came from the mate bond. He turned back towards his room, running as fast as he could as he wondered what would have made Moon begin to feel restless.
His mark on her hadn't healed yet, but it was already effective; he could only imagine the effect of it when it finally healed.
Harper came out of Liam's room with a wide grin on her face; the impact she made would be enough to last for a while. She didn't expect to bump into Liam's sturdy chest.
'Ouch!" She hissed, ready to give whoever it was a piece of her mind when her eyes met with Liam's fierce stare.
'Alpha?" Her voice was almost inaudible as she rubbed her forehead slowly, pouting with her eyes shaky.
'What were you doing in there?" Liam whispered loudly, his face was almost red as he took hold of the hand on her forehead.
'I was…"
'Come with me." He dragged her along to his office, barely closing the door behind him as he pushed her into the chair.
'What in fuck's name were you doing in my bedroom!?" He had his eyes widened as he glared at her, the left side of his lips inching towards this nose.
Harper looked at him but could not stand the fierceness in his eyes, she looked down, her voice not wanting to leave her throat.
'Answer me!" Liam banged his fist on the table, making the content of it vibrate.
Harper jumped at the sound, she was beginning to cry.
'What did you do, huh? What did you tell her?" He bent to have a better look at her terrified face.
Harper didn't understand his reaction and her tears, but she looked at him anyway.
'I told you I have something to tell you." She was barely speaking.
Liam held her jaw, squeezing it like a maniac. He could still feel Moon's restlessness and he wondered what Harper must have done.
'If you fuckin' wanna speak to me, then you've gonna do it right bitch."
Harper looked up at him at once, her heart broke at the title he called her. Was this really all she was to him? A bitch?
'A bitch?" A voice, the tears leaving her eyes now. Her lips were trembling but Liam's eyes were unseeing.
Harper had never seen Liam like this, she had never heard he was like this. What changed? Moon?
'Now, if you would stop wasting my goddamn time, I would appreciate it." He told her with clenched teeth; the words were slow and stressed, and she felt the impact of it even to her bones.
'I…"
He let her jaws go, half sitting on the table, his eyes were solely trained on her and nothing else.
'You…" His fists were tightly clenched.
Liam wished Harper was a woman, he would have dished out a blow to her jaw a long time ago. She kept delaying and he could tell she was doing it on purpose.
'You marked her." Harper blurted.
The singular image of that did damage to her brain, it caused havoc to her world of imagination.
'It seems you'd love to disappear from the surface of the earth." Liam threatened, his smile was maniacal as he stood fully, ready to advance towards her.
Seeing he wasn't joking around and the intention in his eyes not hidden, she closed her eyes and decided it was either that or nothing.
'I am pregnant!"
Liam's heart stopped as he froze in his steps. He looked at Harper whose eyes remained tightly closed like she was expecting a hit from him. He watched her open her eyes slowly to look at him.
'What?" His voice betrayed him, they shook with many unidentified emotions.
'I said, I am pregnant," Harper repeated slowly, folding her lips into a thin line as her hands pinched themselves.
Liam took unsteady steps towards her; his breaths got shallow. The ringing in his ears was louder than before as he looked at her stomach.
He hovered over her, his hands holding the armchairs. 'What did you just say?"
Harper felt her throat go dry, she was almost not breathing. The tension was too much, she was sure she would suffocate to death if she didn't find a way out of this situation.
'…pregnant." Harper repeated the words she said but Liam only heard ‘pregnant'.
Breathing noiselessly, Liam fell to his knees before her, his forehead hitting her lap, making her yelp at first.
She felt hot, her lap felt hot, and she noticed it was from Liam's head on her lap.
With shaky hands, not knowing if she would lose her hand or not, she reached out to his head to feel his temperature.
Liam was aware of his physical state, but he could not bring himself to stand up or raise his head. Various thoughts ran through his head.
‘She is pregnant.' Kept repeating in his head, stopping him from thinking far.
When he felt Harper's hand on his forehead, he shook in disgust, but he could not bring himself to take her hand off; his hands were limp.
It was then the image of Moon surfaced in his head.
‘Moon.'
Was this why he had felt the restlessness from the mate bond? Did Harper tell Moon this?
He was about to raise his head to look her in the eyes and ask her if she relayed this same information to Moon when he suddenly felt Harper's body relax, her hand on his forehead moved to his hair as she started weaving her hand through his hair.
He tensed. He felt repulsed and was about to take her hand off him when he heard a sniff, then a sob from behind.
‘MOON!?'
