'Daddy!" Alpha Victor's 3-year-old daughter called happily, running towards her father to get thrown up into the air.

Alpha Victor ignored his enthusiastic daughter; he had his astonished gaze on the rough-looking boy who had his eyes locked on his too.

'Are you…"

'My mother is dying." Liam went straight to the point, he had vowed not to show weakness.

He already didn't like his father from the few things he heard from his mother. The look on his face made it even worse.

Bowing after delivering the news, he made to leave.

'Stop there!" Alpha Victor, who just snapped out of his shock, ordered, but Liam kept moving.

'How dare you ignore the Alpha!?" One of the brutal-looking guards charged towards him.

Pushed to the wall, Liam succumbed to his needs. He envisioned his estranged father's position and teleported himself there to hear a series of gasps.

'You are indeed my son. I need no proof." Victor smiled, inspecting every feature of his long-lost son.

'What do you think you are doing Victor?" Jennifer asked, carrying her daughter who ran back to her after being ignored by her father.

'What do you think I am doing?" Victor asked back; he looked older, but the older he got, the more attractive he looked.

'MY MOTHER IS DYING!" Liam shouted to Victor's face, standing on his toe to make his words more effective.

Liam watched Victor stand still for a few minutes without uttering any word before he grimaced.

'She just gave up the ghost," Victor announced.

'You will be here henceforth." He continued.

'You are joking right?" Jennifer interfered.

Having a stepson from a maidservant made her feel uncomfortable and angry.

'Right?" She asked again, pushing Liam aside and coming closer to have a full view of his face.

'Go inside," Liam ordered.

'I…"

'Go in or say bye to your father's pack." Victor put on a mean face.

Liam looked at his strange father not understanding what he meant.

'I need…"

'And I just said your mother is dead!" Alpha Victor roared.

'No." The miniature version of Victor had a more expressive emotion.

Liam made to leave, but Victor held his arm and, without further words, weakened him to unconsciousness.

'Sorry, son, but you are mine now," Victor whispered, teleporting out of his pack with a few of his subjects watching the show.

'Who is he?" The solemn-looking Alpha asked his Gamma who appeared in the courtroom with an unconscious and sick-looking boy.

'A street child I picked up from the street my Alpha."

Alpha Rex was uninterested in anything that didn't have to do with his missing mate.

Beta Stones, who sat on one of the chairs in the courtroom, looked closely at the boy in the Gamma's hands. He had his suspicions, he would never believe that the undercover Alpha of a Rouge Pack would be kind enough to pick up a stray and not want to train the pup to fit into his pack.

'A street child?" He asked but swallowed nervously when Alpha Victor directed his glare at him.

'His name?" Alpha Rex asked perfunctorily.

Looking down at his son whose hair he had dyed blonde, he felt immersed in sadness not knowing even as little as his name.

'I would have to ask him when he awakens."

'As usual, we are always open to receiving new members as long as they aren't spies." Alpha Rex's eyes were already drooping.

'I'll keep him with Ria; she will take of him alongside her son." Gamma Victor requested, but his fierce yellow orbs were on the dumbfounded Beta.

'As you wish." The Alpha wanted to be done with his day already.

***

'Your suspicions are correct. He is my son and knowing this, I expect him to be treated like the royalty he is." Alpha Victor's presence occupied the room, giving a little space for the couple to breathe properly.

'But…"

'He knows his origin and doesn't rile up the past. His mother is dead, he doesn't need to be reminded. Keep him as safe as possible." Alpha Victor stated without giving them room to talk.

He placed the still unconscious Liam on the arranged bed, stepping back a bit to look at his disguise.

'Your son will forever be under him."

Ria frowned at the words of the Alpha.

'What? You don't like it?" Victor asked Ria, his brow raised in contempt.

'Aiden…"

'Yes, he will." Beta Stones came in between them, slightly pinching Ria's arms.

'If you want to lose your dream of being the Alpha of this pack, you can treat him like any other child would be treated."

'If we want to go on without suspicions, he needs to be treated like an ordinary pup." Ria went ahead still.

'I can choose to bring back the Alpha's mate and her offspring." A sort of calm returned to the room.

'We won't treat him ordinarily." Beta Stones promised.

'My son will forever be under your son's power."

'Stones?" His mate called with wide eyes and opened his mouth.

'But what's in for Aiden?" Stones asked.

'Mating my last daughter. At least, it won't be a waste of time. You get to have a connection with me."

'Be rest assured Alpha, we will take care of your son so long as you make me the Alpha of this pack." Beta Stones said.

'Soonest." Alpha Victor responded and stepped out of the room feeling satisfied.

***

'Get lost!" Liam growled to Aiden who wanted to touch his blonde hair.

Even his eye color had been changed to black. How did he do it?

'Where is the Alpha?" Liam asked Stones who watched him closely.

'I need to see my mum!" He yelled after receiving silence as a response.

'You might lose your life if you keep yelling that way, Alpha Victor won't find it funny." Ria chipped in, holding her shaky son whose eyes looked at Liam in fear.

Closing his eyes, Liam tried to imagine his home so he could teleport there but only ended up having blood dripping from his nose.

Ria was on it immediately, looking for a light towel and running to clean his nose.

'You are not allowed to touch me!" Liam refused her help, swiping her hand away.

Beta Stones signaled her to leave and she did.

'Your father will be here soon."

'Not my father. I have no father." Liam responded, looking on edge, he needed to leave very fast.

There was a knock on the door which Ria went to receive. When she came back, she looked at her mate for a while.

'Who was that?"

'A guard."

'The Alpha wants to hear from him right?" Beta Stone asked before she said more and she nodded.

'You are wanted by the Alpha." Beta Stone informed him.

'I won't leave." Liam folded his hand across his chest.

Stones closed his eyes for a few seconds before opening them.

'Your presence…"

'I will take it from here." There was a hand on his shoulder, the Gamma had come.

Liam's gaze became more fierce on seeing Alpha Victor, but Alpha Victor's gaze was fiercer; he used his Alpha aura, pressurizing everyone in the room.

'You are my son and you will do as you are told." Alpha Victor, who had decided it was best not to button his shirt, ordered.

Liam's eyes looked at the tattoos peeking out on his body. His eyes immediately caught the name ‘Moon'.

He looked back at Alpha Victor's eyes.

'Why did you abandon my Mum?" It came out as a shaky question; his eyes were begging to be told the truth.

Alpha Victor got weakened by the question from his sad son, that he sagged a little before going close to him.

'It was never intentional to abandon your Mum. She ran away, son, and I couldn't locate her."

'You could have if you wanted to. You could even tell she was dead." Liam began to cry, thinking about his sick mother.

'Let me go! I need to see Mum!" He yelled, he was beginning to get agitated.

Alpha Victor rubbed his forehead to rid the incoming headache.

Taking hold of Liam's head, his hand glowed green, and soon, Liam slept off.

'You will see Alpha Rex, and you will tell him your name, the death of your mother, and your being bullied on the road by street children when you tried to get help." Alpha Victor said slowly, he wasn't happy.

'You will leave out anything about my relationship with you or your mum's relationship with me and this pack." He continued, blinking rapidly.

'You will do as you are told to all through your time here." Alpha Liam concluded, setting him to sleep.

Beta Stones and his wife stood around, watching everything in awe. Ria made sure to turn Aiden's face towards her and close his ears so he didn't have anything in his mind or mistakenly spill it out to someone else.

'Go tell the Alpha he fainted again." Alpha Victor turned to Ria, his brows were creased and sweaty.

'Okay, Alpha." She responded and went for the door alongside Aiden. On touching the door knob she hesitated a little.

'Get the poison quick."

'How do we do it?"

'My son will do the deed. He is an unsuspicious fellow whose mum might have been dead." Alpha Victor's gruff voice was heard.

Ria sighed inaudibly and closed the door behind her. She would pretend she knew nothing about this plan to poison the Alpha. All she needed was to be addressed as the Luna of the Silverstone Pack.
