Calming myself down in this situation is a hard task, but I do. I had always had absolute control over my emotions until meeting Moon just recently.
On the thought of her, I waited till it got a little darker before deciding to move out. I can't remember the last time I made use of my ability, but this night, to see Moon, I will.
In Kia's head, I know he thinks I have transferred all of my ability to him. He doesn't know he just has a fraction of it and nothing more.
Though I have lost my ability to be invisible, the ability to pass through hard surfaces was still present. Standing up and deliberately dressing in a black sleeveless muscle shirt and shorts, I made my way through the walls towards the back of the pack house.
Remembering something, I walked back into my room through the wall and created an illusion of me sleeping. Knowing Kia, he would come in occasionally without prior notice to check up on me.
Having been satisfied with the illusion of myself sleeping on the bed, I stepped out. It might have been a little harder for me if my room was above the floor level; I pat myself on the chest for making such a wise decision.
Running without stopping at the maximum speed. Oh! I forgot to say, I have the ability of extraordinary speed, too; my speed level is faster than that of the elders. I can't be caught by just looking once.
Out of the Pack's territory, I found myself taking in a handful of fresh air, but that didn't help the hurt I felt still.
Walking aimlessly but briskly, I was already standing in front of the huge gate. I saw myself entering through the gate, but considering my visibility, I would rile up the issue that has been sleeping for so long. I chose to stay back, hoping against all odds that Moon open up the gate to sneak out.
I swear I would take her away and never return her to her parents and pack members. It's not like they need her anyway.
I kept waiting, pacing to and fro in front of the gate. Looking at the moon, I sighed remembering my mum and my mate.
I lost count of time but I knew I had overstayed and needed to leave. Looking at the huge gate one more time, I found myself leisurely strolling back, having no strength to run.
Taking a turn, felt something strange. Laughing like it was all I could do, I began to kick the pebbles in front of my feet as I strolled leisurely.
How could I not know that he would be meticulous enough to watch my every action and follow me out?
Having had enough of him, I decided it was time to take back what was mine. I let the index nail of my right hand elongate and with my elongated dark nail belonging to my wolf, I pierced into the wrist of my left hand, drawing blood.
Bringing myself to a standstill, with the blood dripping off my hand, I made a sharp turn. Activating my speed and letting my wolf take partial control, I see the outline of his figure stopping, probably waiting to see my next line of action.
Pathetic!
With a speed he couldn't match, I stopped before him, and without wasting much time, I let my elongated nail go through his chest but not deep enough to touch his heart, earning a gasp of surprise and pain from him.
'What? You didn't expect this?" I asked with fake surprise.
Seeing the red liquid willingly flowing out of him, I keep him in a static position just with the control of my mind and thoughts.
'What are you doing to me?" Came to his question as he began to fully materialize.
'You can't code?"
With my question, I placed the open wound in my wrist against the open wound in his chest, and soon enough, he began to gasp for air as drops of my blood left him.
'Please…please for…forgive me." He pleaded, his lips moving, his eyes blinking away tears but not moving an inch; I can only imagine the pain he must be going through.
'Don't worry, I bear no grudge against you. I just need my power back since you have no good use of it."
'I do…" He said in between gasps.
'Ooh! You do? To threaten me? Fight me? Dethrone me? Which?" I asked as the transaction was slowly coming to an end.
'I was just doing my job as your Beta!" He yelled, trying to move his body.
'If I were you, I would stay still," I warned him.
'Besides, doing your job as my Beta doesn't involve threatening me, Kia. When have I ever done the same or even more to you?" I asked him expelling air from my pouted lips.
'You are relieved of…"
'NO!" He yelled, trying as hard as ever to move from his position, his face twisted in pain.
'I am sorry! I promise I am sorry." He pleaded this time he had tears in his eyes.
Looking at the wound still on his chest and his slow ability to heal himself, I placed my hand, and soon enough, the hole was gone, earning me a look of wonderment from him.
'You…you…"
'What? You thought I only possessed the ability transferred to you?"
Scoffing I made as if to leave him.
'I swear!" He shouted again to get my attention and I stopped to give that to him.
'I swear I would be extremely loyal this time, I swear I won't do any of the things I did before now."
'Aarrh!" I drawled, sauntering towards him with his eyes following my movement.
'I forgot my pendant," I said with a smile.
Reaching out my hand with my index finger I ripped it out of his neck. Grabbing it with extreme force, I watch his eyes widen even more as it shatter in my hands.
Catching his eyes, I gave him a reassuring smile that I knew he didn't believe.
'So what do you want?" I asked him with my hand behind my back.
'Allow me to be your Beta; I will do your bid."
'Done."
'Huh?" He looked confused and I chose that moment to release him, earning him a fall.
'What else do you expect?" I questioned his confused look.
'I will be without protection."
'You brought it upon yourself," I said looking down on him.
'Alpha Liam…"
'Before you resume your position as a Beta, you would have to take the sacred blood oath here and now!"
'Alpha…"
'You don't want to?" I asked with a grin while shaking my head slowly to drive home my point.
'I…I will." He looked deflated.
'Good," I said, opening a fresh wound and using my blood to make a circle around him.
