Lucas had shown me a photo of her—she was a cute girl.
How could she possibly be so vicious?
Instead of stopping,Sophie glued my mouth shut with adhesive from my desk and stomped my face.
“Lying tramp!”
“Lucas has no sister! The Quinns have one son—everyone knows it.What, his lover sister?”
After the divorce, I chose to live with Mom, which is why the Quinns never made my existence public.
The family moved abroad early, only returning recently.
My existence wasn’t secret,just low-profile.
Gritting my teeth,I gasped,“Call him!I’m telling the truth!”
Sophie scoffed,as if I’d just pulled a cheap stunt.
“Don’t fall for her lies!”she told the stream.“She wants her boyfriend to save her!”
“Beat mistresses first, talk later,or they’ll ruin more families!”
She smirked, spouting her so - called “wisdom” to her fans.
Then,grabbing scissors,she leered at me malevolently,grinning like a demon.
“Time to learn:keep your legs shut and stop chasing men!”
“Like beating mistresses?Smash that like button!”
Her vile words and twisted expression shattered any illusions I’d had about her.
I’d planned to gift her condos to ease her insecurities, given her modest background.
Now,all I could hope was that Lucas would get rid of this monster.
“Still glaring at me?”
She hacked off my hair.
Struggling,my phone slipped out,the lock screen glowing—a travel selfie with Lucas.
Sophie raged.“Not a mistress,huh?You’ve got couple photos!Shameless!Lucas doesn’t love old hags like you—he’s just playing.I’m the one he’ll marry!”
With all my strength, I lunged for my phone, desperate to call for help.
She stomped my arm.
