Chapter 27

If Daisy wants to change something, she must ask the other man's opinion because he is the owner of this room.

Daisy felt tired so she changed into normal clothes and took a good nap until the afternoon.

In the quiet small house behind the Atlas villa, he looked at the black wall with only a vortex in front of him, and then he locked himself in that vortex, forever struggling to escape. Some invisible force pulled him back, he could only cling to it and let it control him.

Atlas was angry, his hands clenched the sides of the wheelchair. He wanted to stand up, but he was powerless to stand up. As soon as he lifted himself, he immediately fell to the floor. How many times had that happened? He couldn't remember, the more he tried the more he failed.

"Why is this happening, why can't I stand up? What do I need these useless legs for?" Atlas kept wondering, wouldn't it be better to cut off these legs and not have to look at them anymore? His hands kept punching his thighs, but no matter how many times he punched, he didn't feel anything. Atlas punched and shouted: "Damn, this leg."

His scream was so loud that it shook the whole wooden house, but Linus standing outside was not angry at all. He just sighed in his heart, as if he was used to this situation.

He just stood outside the door without entering the room, he knew the young master just wanted to be alone.

Inside the room, Atlas screamed and his body trembled again. No matter how much he yelled, he couldn't vent the anger in his heart.

At this moment, his eyes were filled with resentment. If he had been more careful if he had been wary of those two people, would he have been in a wheelchair like this? It was because he looked down on them that he was so hurt by them.

All his life, he can only sit in this wheelchair and watch them laugh at him. A cunning smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, nothing like that would happen.

Daisy slept until four o'clock in the afternoon before waking up. Although she was comfortable lying on the sofa, moving her body was difficult, making her shoulders a bit tired. After massaging a few times, she instinctively went to open the window curtains.

Now she sees that behind the window this room is empty, there is nothing much, only a few withered potted plants. Why is it so strange? Did the gardener forget to water it? Such a scene seems a bit strange.

Every time she saw Atlas sitting here, she didn't know what he was looking at. Also, he didn't open the curtains. Many times, she always saw him locking himself in a dark space.

Daisy thought for a moment then closed the curtain and left the room. As soon as Daisy left the hallway, Mrs. Nenito came down the stairs. She was dressed somewhat elegantly and carried a bag. Seeing her preparing to go out, Daisy still greeted her as usual: "Mother-in-law."

Mrs. Nenito looked her up and down, unable to hide the contempt in her eyes, she said: "You have been staying at Drkov's house for a few days, you should learn the rules of this house. In a moment, the butler will guide you and when you finish studying, you better do it well, what should be managed and what should not be managed, you should remember, you know?"

"Yes, mom."

Daisy replied that she didn't care what the Drkov family did. Initially, because she was related to Atlas, she was a bit harsh with the servants, which made Mrs. Nenito uncomfortable.

She looked at Daisy's obedient appearance. She gently snorted, walked past Daisy, and left.

The servants in the house saw her, they all bowed their heads and shouted: "Madam."

It seems that Mrs. Nenito likes this. Daisy could see the corners of her mouth showing pride.

Daisy shrugged and paid no attention. Whatever she likes, whoever she is, it has nothing to do with her.

In contrast to Mrs. Nenito, everyone looked at Daisy and ignored her. Daisy went to the kitchen to drink some water and then went out for a walk.

She went to the gardener again and asked: "Do you take care of the garden every day?"

"Yes ma'am."

One person replied.

'So why didn't the bonsai behind the first young master's room take care of them?"

Daisy asked.

The other said: 'You just arrived so you don't know. The landlady said we don't need to manage that place."

"Why so?"

Daisy was confused. The whole garden is full of flowers and grass everywhere, but there is nothing in that place that makes people feel a bit desolate.

'I don't know, I just did as she said."

Hearing that, Daisy didn't ask much but went there to take a look. She walked half a circle to get there. The land here is a bit dry and has a lot of grass. Trees are overgrown everywhere and there is trash scattered everywhere, mainly paper.

Daisy saw an intact piece of paper with a few scribbles on it, but she could see it was a costume design. She looked up and saw that the paper was stained.

There is not only one piece of paper here but also many other pieces of paper, new and old mixed. Feeling a bit unsightly, she collected these pieces of paper.

When she finished dinner and was about to read the script, the butler came to find her. He gave her a file and said: "Miss, these are the rules the boss gave you, read them and remember them."

Looking at the document, Daisy asked: "Are there so many rules in this house?"

"These are just rules for daughters-in-law. There are a few more rules. I'll give you these rules first. I hope you can do them well."
