She looked at her hands soaked with blood and her eyes widened. She wanted to feel fear but she only felt disgust.
'I can't believe I have your disgusting blood on my hands." That was what she said.
Moon almost bit her tongue to stop herself from talking but still talked anyway. She felt afraid yet courageous, she felt alone yet with company.
Alpha Victor looked at her but he wasn't surprised.
'I knew this day would come." He has his hands trying to stop the blood gushing from his belly.
'You did? I doubt." Moon walked closer to him and Liam almost shouted her name to stop her.
'I didn't kill you on purpose." She sneered at him.
'The next time you'd teleport in here again to cause havoc will be your last."
Victor looked at her before smiling, his teeth were bloodied. 'I don't need to. I have seen your future. You'd be worse than me."
'I will never be you." She spat.
'How did you do it?" He groaned, holding the wall with his free hand as he tried to raise himself.
'How did you stifle my power?" He asked, groaning at the pain that shot through him.
'One more question and you'd join her."
'Get me, my daughter. I want to bury her myself."
'Deal or die." Moon stretched her bloodied hand, she didn't know what made her this bold while Liam kept pinching his brows. This lady was going to be the end of him.
'What fuckin' deal?" Alpha Victor was weakened; he didn't need to show it, which he was desperately trying to hide, by the way.
'Stay glued to your rogue pack and leave us all alone. Deal or die."
Just then, Aiden was brought out at Liam's instruction; he had his head bowed, and his hands cuffed behind him.
Serenity tried reaching out but was stopped by Kia. 'Don't." Kia shook his head at her.
Beta Stone barged in with Ria at that point too, making all eyes turn towards them.
Seeing Alpha Victor in a pitiful condition and Alpha Rex staring at him like he knew all his secrets, Beta Stone felt weak.
When he saw his son stand a little closer to the huffing Victor, with his head bowed and his hands cuffed, he felt speechless. There was nothing he could do or say that to watch along with his mate.
'As I was saying before I got interrupted. What's your take?"
Alpha Victor who knew he had no chance anymore, swallowed his shame and shook her hand. What he didn't expect was the glow.
'What have you done?" He hissed at her.
'You have taken an oath." She smiled at him, her smile a little blinding and annoying.
'When you go against this oath, you will die of internal bleeding; if you don't and you somehow successfully plant your feet here, I will kill you myself." She concluded, still smiling as if she was handing out an award.
'Just get me my damned daughter!" He straightened unintentionally only to find out that the pains were gone and the holes made by her elongated claws earlier were closed.
Moon looked at Liam, whose eyes had been trained on her since the start of the sudden fight, and pursed her lips.
Understanding her actions, Liam looked at Kia and nodded his head at him. Leaving Sienna in the hands of Aunt Olivia, Kia walked out with guards following him to where Diana's corpse lay.
'You can go with them, Victor." Liam, who no longer felt weak, told his father.
Victor walked with his head raised high but he stopped at Liam's side and said loudly. 'If I were you, I would watch her closely."
'Focus on your lonely life old man." Liam countered.
He walked up to Stones, whose eyes didn't leave him a bit. 'We would meet after here for your son's deed." He threatened and walked ahead, not stopping to spare either Rex or Olivia a look.
'Aiden," Moon called carefully, coming a bit close to him.
Hearing her call him, Aiden lifeless eyes had a tinge of life to them as he looked up at him.
'She?" She pointed towards Serenity.
'Would you give her a chance?" Moon asked slowly, making sure not to get too close, being hyper-aware of Liam's eyes on her.
Aiden looked at the unfamiliar faces and the familiar ones staring back at him. Seeing his parents' pitiful faces, he pretended not to know them till his eyes met Serenity's.
'Don't use me and I will." He struggled to talk, his voice was hoarse.
' I won't, I won't." Serenity was beside herself with joy as she escaped from Olivia's hold towards Aiden, ignoring the stench coming from him.
'You all are dismissed," Liam told everyone before turning to face Stones and Ria.
'Escort them out." He told the head prison guard.
'You have no such right." Stones stilled himself and refused to bulge.
'We are here for our son," Ria added.
Liam looked at the man he had hated hours before now and asked him, 'Do you want to go with them?"
'I don't know who they are." His rough voice shattered Ria's heart. She tried to be strong but she could not.
'Leave or have yourself to blame." Liam finalized turning his back to them before the struggle began.
Moon, who now felt as light as a feather, looked towards her hands shyly. She didn't know what to feel or what to make up for the situation, especially with the blood on her hands.
'Sweet," Liam called, walking slowly towards her with a smile on his lips.
'I…" She started.
'Shhh…" Liam had his index finger on her lips to stop her from talking further.
'Moon, Liam?" Olivia called coming close to them with Rex right beside her.
'We have a lot to say …"
'I understand." Moon didn't let her go on.
'I deeply apologize for…" Rex stared, his guilt eating him up.
'You don't have to." Moon stopped him before he said anything more.
Moon saw their faces and felt bad, none of this was their fault. It was all the fault of Alpha Victor and she understood this perfectly well.
Walking towards them, she reached out her bloodied hand but dropped it again. Bowing her head towards the floor, she felt overwhelmed with emotions.
At least, she didn't die with the falsehood parent-ship.
'Mum."
'Dad."
She called, surprising the older couple, whose shocked facial expression was priceless.
'I forgive you all. There is nothing to be sorry about."
'Let's have dinner later." She said hurriedly and ran off towards Liam's room, not even bothering to turn back no matter how many times she was called.
Liam would have run off too to chase after her, but he could not see himself doing that when Alpha Rex was right here, staring at him.
Not only was Alpha Rex the man he was forced to serve a deadly poison to years ago, but Alpha Rex is the father to his Luna and the man he unintentionally and intentionally offended by taking Moon away without a formal introduction.
'I have no excuse." He bowed deeply till half his body was close to the floor.
'I forgive you." Rex touched his shoulder.
Liam straightened up and looked at the couple in wonder. Olivia gave him an encouraging smile and that was it.
'Thank you." He deeply appreciated before teleporting into his room to see Moon looking at the door in mock anger.
'What kept you?" She pouted her lips.
'Our parents." He smiled and she squealed.
'Come here. Let's get you washed up."
'Blood." She showed him her hands babyishly.
'I don't care. Come here." He carried her on his shoulder before smacking her ass making her giggle.
'My naughty Alpha." She laughed before teasingly biting his sweaty back as the bathroom door closed behind them.
