She was picked up and brought into the Alpha's court.
'What is this?" Alpha Victor, who got down to chain smoking to calm his sudden wrecked nerves, asked, his head pointing towards the now transformed Joana on the floor.
'We found her by the gate." One of the burly-looking men with a long mustache replied, gently kicking Joana on her stomach.
'Wake her." He looked away, smoking off the cigar in her hand.
Taking a bottle of water, a tomboyish-looking woman sprinkled it on Joana's face till her eyes fluttered open.
Coughing with her hands flying towards her nose to stop her from inhaling the nauseating smoke, Joana tried to understand her environment. She thought back to what happened before now but her brain went blank.
'What brings you to my pack woman?" Alpha Victor's deep voice asked.
Joana straightened up immediately upon hearing Alpha Victor's voice. Now, it all came rushing back to her – the reason she was here.
'Moon, Sir." She was jittering.
'And? What's with Moon?" He relaxed on his chair.
'It's me Alpha." She introduced, trying to make herself more comfortable in spewing the news.
'Who are you?" He frowned, he didn't store the faces of random and unimportant people.
'The adoptive Mum to Moon." She tried to remind him.
'Ooh…" He nodded at her after coming to the realization. He weighed her before adjusting in his seat.
'What brings you here?"
Joana was disappointed; she expected to be given a seat, but the Alpha kept her in her position. She had no other option than to spew it.
'Great!" Alpha Victor's sarcastic voice rang in the room.
'And Diana?" He inquired.
'In the dungeon," Joana responded without thinking twice.
'What!?" The Alpha jumped to his feet, shocked.
'Her condition?"
'Beatened to a pulp." Joana stood to her feet with her head bowed.
'Moon…" She drawled, deciding to give out extra information to make the Alpha more excited.
'What happened to Moon?" He frowned.
'She transformed." Joana spilled.
'What do you mean by she transformed?" Alpha Victor edged closer to the end of his seat.
'She transformed into her wolf." Joana let out.
'Impossible!" Alpha Victor was on his feet this time, after snapping his finger to the mind-blowing news he heard.
'The color of her wolf?" He walked towards her this time.
'White."
'SHIT! Shitty shit!" The Alpha exploded, he tried calming himself down but to no avail.
'Leave, now!"
Joana, who knew the repercussions of disobeying the Alpha, bowed quickly and found her way out of the courtroom.
'It's high time I pay Beta Stones a visit." He smirked in anger, cracking his bones before he disappeared, appearing in Beta Stones's room after creating a mental image of it.
His nose crinkled in disgust when he saw the Beta pumping himself into his mate. They were butt naked, groaning and moaning, spewing incoherent words at each other.
'You fucking idiot!" Alpha Rex yelled and rushed towards the Beta who had frozen on his mate's naked body. Ria's eyes widened as she stared at Alpha Victor, whose eyes were full of hatred.
Grabbing him by his neck, the Alpha drew him out of his Mate's body, and Ria squirmed, looking around for things to cover herself with.
Beta Stones whose shaft had gone limp, stared motionlessly at the red face of the Alpha, already digging up things that could have possibly gone wrong.
'You have the guts to have a good fuck while all the things we have built all through these years are falling apart!?" He raised his hand to give him a blow but withheld his fist.
'What do you mean?" The Beta, who was going red in the face from lack of air, asked. He didn't struggle to free himself from the strong grip of the Alpha.
'Where is Rex?" Alpha Victor asked him, throwing him to the floor in the process.
Ria's muffled scream reverberated in the room; she had her palm over her lips to stop the noise.
'How the hell am I supposed to know!?" The Beta stood up instantly, his hand rubbing the reddened part of his neck.
'How the hell don't you know where your fucking Alpha is!?" Alpha Victor retorted stepping closer to the Beta.
Under your nose, the Alpha ran off to the Bloodmoon pack and there he got to find out that his Mate is still alive alongside his daughter."
'What!?" Ria was in shock.
'WHAT THE…How!?"
'How? You stand there and ask me how?" Alpha Victor chuckled.
'When you are supposed to get down to fulfilling your duties, what did you do? You abandoned them for one minute of pleasure."
'Don't talk about my intercourse with my mate in that manner!" Beta Stones warned he was tired of the insults
'Or what?" Alpha Victor stepped forward.
Stepping forward to meet Alpha Victor and ignoring his mate's signals, Beta Stones jabbed his index finger at Victor's chest.
'You don't get to barge into my room and blame me for your fault, Alpha of the Rogues. It isn't done anywhere."
'If you had finished off Olivia when you should have, all these wouldn't have happened today. I would have been the Alpha, and you would have had the chance to make my pack and yours one, but no, you didn't. You wanted things to go your way and here we are."
'How dare you!" Alpha Victor cried, raising his hand to punch Stones in the face this time but Stones was fast enough to dodge the incoming attack.
Seeing what was about to happen, Ria hurriedly stepped out of the bed, intending to call in aid, but Alpha Victor made her freeze in place.
'What have you done?" Beta Stones looked at his Mate's unusual stance.
'Free her this instant!" He ordered but Victor only shrugged.
'Make me." He smirked before heading for the door.
His confidence level was over the bar as he believed Stones wouldn't do anything to harm him, so he was in for the shock when he felt the blow close to his neck.
Turning slowly towards Stones, whose face twisted in annoyance, he decided to rub in salt to the already open injury.
'If I wanted to engage in combat with you, we both know I'd beat you to death, so fuck off now I am being nice."
'You can chop your niceness, deep fry it, and shove it down your throat. I don't give an actual fuck about it, just set my mate loose!"
Chuckling in delight, Victor smirked at his one-time Beta. 'At least she isn't at the point of death." He nodded at Ria who fell to the floor after being released.
'What do you mean?" Stones asked a little more calmly, having a bad premonition.
'It's better you worry about your son who is in the custody of my dear son. I heard he was beaten to a pulp along with my useless daughter." Victor informed, but at the mention of ‘useless daughter', he had to grit his teeth to stop the rush of intense emotion he was about to feel.
'What?"
'And I'd advise you don't barge into the Bloodmoon pack with the soldiers; Alpha Rex would do everything to pay back your deeds." Alpha Victor advised while still slyly smiling.
'I left my son in your care!" Stones gritted his teeth while Ria got restless.
'Wrong, you left your son in my daughter's care." Victor countered before vanishing into thin air, leaving the couple in confusion.
