'A young boy took over the Blood Moon pack just yesterday." Beta Stone told the Gamma and the Alpha who looked at him for more details.

'A young boy? Age?" The Gamma asked, shifting in his seat; he had a feeling he knew who it was.

'Some said he is 16, some said he looks 20, some said he is 14. There are lots of speculations, I can't find out which is true. I have sent a guard to confirm his identity, he will be back in a bit." The Beta concluded.

'Didn't the Blood Moon pack belong to your mate?" The Alpha turned to his Gamma who nodded slowly with an unsure but satisfied look on his face.

'I guess she doesn't know how well to handle her pack." His nonchalance intrigued the Beta.

Victor sat back on the chair, there was a hidden smile on his face as he stared at the supposed late Luna's picture on the wall. He had this spark the Beta could see, leaving the Beta wondering what he was up to.

The double door opened seconds after the Gamma's reply and a guard came in with a bow.

'What's the information?" Beta Stones asked the guard he sent out but his eyes were solely on the Gamma.

'It's Liam. The new Alpha of the Blood Moon pack is Liam." The guard reported and bowed after that.

The Beta's eyes widened, and the Alpha suddenly went into a fit of cough, the trauma of the past affecting him. Alpha Victor just eased into his chair even more; it was harder to hide the smile on his face; he had to cover his lips in the pretense of yawning, but the Beta caught the crinkle in his eyes.

'You may leave." The Alpha waved the servant away before turning to his Beta.

'Sound this as a warning all through the pack houses. The Blood Moon pack has been declared the enemy of the Silverstone pack on account of Liam, the Alpha of the pack. No one, I repeat, no one from this pack is expected to have any relations with the Blood Moon pack." The Alpha was almost not breathing despite taking little pauses in between.

'What are you up to, Victor?" The venom in the Beta's voice was evident.

'It seems you have forgotten your place, dear Beta Stones," Victor smirked, his eyes turned hard.

'What place? When you can't fulfill your promise. What are you up to making your young son the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack?" The Beta demanded.

Victor sniffed the air before chuckling. 'I smell jealousy and impatience."

Blinded by rage, Beta Stones found his hand wrapped around Victor's neck. 'Quit playing games with me Victor!"

Victor just stared down at Stones before teleporting behind him, kicking him in the groin from behind.

Hearing gasps, Victor looked in the direction of the noise to see some youngsters, Aiden included, staring at them in shock.

Smiling as if he meant it, Victor waved them away. 'We are just practicing." He told them, giving Stones a pinch till he nodded in support.

All the while, he had his eyes on Aiden who knew this was more than just a joke but was forced to turn a blind eye to it and walk away.

'I didn't make my son the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack." Victor walked around the Beta to stand right in front of him.

'I mean, I planned to do that, by the way, but not anytime soon; I just didn't expect that he would think and act faster than his dad." He squatted, wiping off the imaginary dirt on the Beta's shoulder.

'This will be the last time I will have to explain myself to you Beta Stones." The Gamma stood up, looking down at the Beta.

'If you can't trust the process, please leave. If you do, then trust it wholeheartedly." He walked away but stopped a few steps ahead; he turned his head to the side, not bothering to meet Stone's red-rimmed eyes.

'The next time you put me through, this will be the dead end for you, Stones. I guess this will also be the last time I will imprint the image of who I talk am in your head." Victor walked away but stopped again.

'I'll be out. If the Alpha asks of me, you know what to tell him." And he was gone like the smoke.

'What!?" Jennifer was on her feet, almost stepping on Diana's foot.

'What did you just say?" Her voice trembled, and her eyes turned glassy red as she stared at the informant from her father's previous pack.

'The acting Alpha has been eliminated." He delivered, trying his best to be void of emotions, but he could not; his face was etched with deep concerns.

'By who?" She took one step forward.

'Liam."

'The son of my Mate?"

'Pardon?"

'What Liam!?" She asked again to clarify and after listening to the description, she almost stumbled on her feet.

Another guard came in to deliver the latest discovery of the missing Liam alongside the supposed missing Luna of the Silverstone pack.

'No, no, it isn't right. It isn't true. ' She shook her head this way and that, trying her best to stop the ringing voice in her head. The voice of her late father.

'Take me to her room."

'Yes, Luna." The guard responded and Diana followed but was held by the door.

'We will be back soon Baby." Jennifer tried her best to create a stress-free atmosphere for Diana even though she knew it wasn't working.

Opening the door to see it almost empty, Jennifer withheld her scream.

'Take me to his room." She ordered and the guard nodded.

Seeing the lifelessness of the room, she cussed at Victor but the familiar voice kept ringing in her head.

‘Let go of the Rogue Alpha Jenny, there are other better Alpha's out there. Even f you want to be with Alpha Rex, I won't object.'

‘Listen to me Jenny, I built this pack with my blood and sweat.'

‘It isn't love! This is obsession, Jennifer, and if you don't stop this on time, it will end up destroying all of us.'

‘Fine! This is what you want? To watch me die right in front of you? Fine! I should have told your late mum to get your aborted like she wanted.'

'Dad," Jennifer called, hitting her aching chest, tears blurred her vision.

'Dad you were right. I messed up." She began to feel dizzy when another unwanted memory popped into her head.

‘You are back earlier than expected.' She had told Victor whose face wasn't exactly dark or bright.

‘mmm.'

‘Your dad was confirmed dead this morning, I have secured us the position of the Alpha and the Luna till we decide what to do with it.' Victor had informed her in a passing as if the death of her father didn't matter.

'Luna!" The guards yelled and rushed towards Jennifer, who fell to the fall on the floor.
