'The Alpha has found his mate." Beta Stones' apprehensive voice greeted Victor the moment he stepped in.

'So?" Came Victor's disinterested voice.

'So? This was not the deal Victor! The deal was to get him out of the way."

'You can as well go from door to door shouting your hidden agenda into their ears," Victor replied, he was very unconcerned.

'You lied to me." Beta Stones bared his teeth, ready to attack when Victor held his neck with so much force that Stones feared his neck would snap into two.

'It's either to shut the hell up and follow my lead, or you do it your way, fail woefully, and count me out of it." The Gamma challenged.

Throwing him across the room, Beta Stone laid still for a while before trying to stand.

'Patience." Gamma Victor said.

'Patience." He repeated, lighting the lighter on his hand before looking straight at the Beta.

'If you can't exercise patience, you can't work with me." He stated before walking out of the room.

'She is already pregnant. How long do I have to wait?" The Beta, who was agitated, was on Victor's neck again.

'Go ahead and do what you want to do then."

'This was not the deal."

Victor who was still nursing the disappearance of his mate and the feeling she was getting weak, sighed and stopped.

'Wait for my signal and do nothing. You are dismissed." He waved and walked on, his back looking sad and lonely.

'It has been done." Beta Stones informed Victor who nodded at him.

'The rest will be handled from here."

Soon, there was an emergency call in the pack house.

'The Luna has gone missing."

'Impossible!"

'Maybe she just went for a walk."

'I doubt."

Everyone had their opinion of what happened to the Luna. Amid all this chaos, the Beta and Gamma were cool, casually strolling to the courtroom.

'I would advise we be calm about the situation to access it fully." Beta Stone suggested.

'It's been a whole day and she isn't back yet." Alpha Rex, who sat on the edge of his throne with a worry line etch on his forehead, said.

The rest worried he would fall off the seat.

'She isn't a child to miss her way," Victor added.

'My point." The Alpha's hands were wringing against each other.

'We would dispatch the guards and go with them in search of her." Gamma Victor said with a tone of finality.

The Alpha paid him no mind and transformed into this huge white wolf and ran out of the courtroom. To the Gamma, this automatically meant a go-ahead and he did dispatch the guards to go in search of the missing Luna.

He marched with the guards, Stones leading the majority of the group toward the more isolated area to search.

Using his brain, Victor scattered the guards around, going his separate way in the name of searching for the missing Luna.

Staying in the hidden corner, he teleported himself to his pack. Raising his index and middle fingers of his right hand at once, he signaled the dangerous-looking men to leave at once.

Opening the door, which gave an ominous creaking sound, he stepped into the badly lit room, hoping to see Luna still asleep, but she was wide awake.

Her eyes squinted at him before they widened.

'Gamma Victor," she called in a hoarse voice, it was evident she had been screaming her head off.

Her green doe eyes stared at him in relief.

'I knew one of you would definitely find me." She sighed.

'Quick, untie me." She pleaded but he just sat down in the seat directly opposite her.

'You still don't get it?" Victor unbuttoned his shirt to reveal his tattoo-filled torso.

The Luna calmed down to inspect him in the dark.

'What do you mean?" She asked, looking around her as if afraid something would jump on her out of the dark.

He kept silent for a while, taking a stick of cigar from the thin air and lighting it with the metal lighter in his hand.

He smoked, puffing the smoke into the air while his eyes looked at the Luna's own.

'Wait," She looked at him with unbelieve boldly written on her face.

'You…you captured me?" She asked in a low voice as if trying to convince herself not to buy her thought.

'Bingo!" Victor replied, raising the cigar in the air as if making a toast.

'Why?" She could not relax.

'I am pregnant with the Alpha's child." She pointed out to her protruding stomach.

'Obviously," Victor replied.

'Are you not afraid?" She tried to make him see reasons with her.

'Of what? Your mate? Oh please, I am an Alpha too." He smirked, drawing in a mouthful of smoke and swallowing it before puffing it out in the air.

Her brows furrowed, sizing him up.

'Why?" She finally asked.

'Why?" He repeated.

'Let's just say, just because." He shrugged.

'What if your mate was kidnapped too?"

'It would be great." He laughed.

'Olivia." He called, standing up and walking towards her.

'I should kill you off." He bent to blow smoke on her face.

'But I won't." He stopped and then looked at her.

It looked like he was expecting applause, and when he didn't get it, he continued.

'I won't kill you off because you are kind. The kindest Luna I have ever known." He felt her soul. In as much as she was relaxed, she was troubled; he heard her wolf snap, so he decided to release his aura.

She shook, and her wolf whimpered in fear. She looked at him with widened eyes, she finally believed his identity.

'Why are you really doing this?" She tried to prevent her teeth from chattering but sucked at it.

'Someone wants your position." He looked on in amusement as her face twisted.

'No, not a lover. Your mate is too committed for that." He chuckled, walking back to his seat on his chair.

'An opposition."

'Soon, the pack won't be in your mate's hand."

She looked at him accusingly.

'There, there. You need to stop doing that. I am not interested in your measly pack, I have mine and one other to deal with."

'Let me go and I swear, I won't expose you." She tried to bargain.

'Nice try." He nodded.

'Let's make this quick." He took a final drag of the cigar and squash the remaining one by pressing the butt on the table behind him.

'What are you about to do?" Her eyes widened in fear.

'If you keep still, it won't be painful." He walked quickly towards her.

'I am pregnant and will be due anytime soon." She tried again.

Ignoring her, he placed a hand on her head.

'Your name remains Olivia." He started in a monotonous tone.

'You will forget about your mate, you will forget about your pack."

'Please." Olivia whimpered, her hand tightly clutching her belly, tears slipping from her eyes. 'Please…"

'You don't belong to the rouge pack either. You have no place of belonging, you will have no memory of being pregnant even when you give birth to your pup." He continued.

He was about to continue when her loud sob stopped him, breaking his concentration. He wasn't supposed to, but he pitied her, he could not bear to continue. He had to let her head go and watch her head fall forward, the ropes holding her in place.

Snapping his finger, the door opened in response.

'Take her to the midwives and let her remain there till she is due; we will talk about the rest after that."

'Yes, Alpha." The three men bowed.

'Treat her with care and respect, any manhandling will be perceived and dealt with accordingly." He looked at her once last time before vanishing from the dark space.

'I did as you ordered." Beta Stones reported.

'Okay," Victor responded, opened the door to his room, and was about to shut it when Stones placed his hand.

'What else?"

'Is she dead?"

'That shouldn't be your business."

'I placed the body where you asked me to; the blood-filled clothes too."

'I don't need a detailed report."

'What next?"

'We wait."

'What about the child?"

'We can't afford him coming back to take over the pack."

'Night." Victor slammed the door in his face.
