'What the hell is wrong with you guys?" She asked her friends, clearly having enough of their pranks after the tough night she experienced.
'We should be asking you that." Amira countered with her hands on her waist, her ears pecked up to get updated.
'Girl, where have you been? Becky said she saw you sneaking up the stairs like a ninja." Amira said and soon, she started laughing at the sheer imagination of Diana being sneaky.
The other girls joined in the laugh, but Diana was not amused.
'Hey, leave my bed." She said to Lilian.
'Yo! Chill." Lilian had a little frown on her face.
Rushing to Lilian, Diana pushed her out of her bed with the entirety of her strength.
'What the fuck is."
'You don't know about respect for privacy and personal property," Diana said flopping herself on the bed before releasing a huge sigh.
Looking at themselves and shrugging, the three friends decided it was best to wait it out. With the room being extremely quiet, with only a moment of hisses and sighs from Diana, the three girls got tired of waiting and decided with the exchange of looks and slight signs that it might be better to move out and give Diana her space.
'I caught Aiden kissing Moon." Diana blurted before Amira's hand could get hold of the door knob.
'What!?"
'Fuck!"
'What the heck!"
The three girls exclaimed, looked at Diana, whose eyes were distraught, her cheeks puffed up and reddish, her hands holding tight unto the beddings, and rushed towards her.
'What did you just say?" Amira asked again squatting before Diana while the others flanked her.
'It is what it is," Diana replied.
Becky got down to patting Diana's back.
'Tell us what happened, little by little. If you still need time to process what you saw, it's okay." Amira encouraged and got disapproving looks from the other two who were interested in knowing what happened.
'I confessed to him," Diana said again, dropping her face into her hands.
'WHAT!?" The three friends yelled in unison, each of them had their eyes wide as saucers already figuring out what went wrong.
'He is in her room at the moment." Diana found herself saying again, shocking them even more.
'Okay, okay." Lilian started using her hand to show a sign of calming herself down.
'I know you are shocked, girl, but I think you should take your time in telling us what went down." She said and the rest nodded in support.
'You are just dropping bombs on us and they aren't tallying. It just feels like starting with an exposition, skipping to the climax, and coming back to the inciting incident. Just take your time." Lilian concluded and sank to the floor from pressure after squatting for too long.
'Yes, she is right. What happened?" Becky asked with a concerned face.
To their mortification, Diana's mouth started trembling as if the words were too heavy to say, and before anyone could say ‘jack', she burst into tears.
It took a lot of consolation to get her to be calm and talk.
'I walked in on them talking." Diana, who had a mental battle, decided to tell her friends the watered-down version of what happened.
'Okay…" They said, all eyes on her mouth.
Dianna was sure that they would have fallen into her mouth if given the opportunity.
'He kissed her out of the blue and she leaned…" Diana paused, taking in a handful of fresh air.
Remembering the image of them kissing, Diana's almost forgotten pain reinvaded her mind.
'Easy, easy," Becky said patting Diana's back.
'Soon, they were down to it. He…he threw her over his shoulder and hurried to his room." Diana paused and shut her eyes.
'Was he that impatient?" Amira asked like she couldn't believe what she just heard.
'I thought they had nothing together after that day." Becky chipped in, clearly flabbergasted by the absurdness of Aiden and Moon's relationship.
'So where does your confession come in?" Lilian asked instead, her brows lifted at the end of her question.
Diana, who had her eyes shut opened them slowly and gave Lilian something others would describe as a hate stare for her lack of compassion before continuing.
'I knocked on the door."
'You what?" Lilian had a disapproving look on her face.
'You know that isn't cool. That shows you off as needy and insecure." Lilian commented.
'I thought you knew better." She continued.
'Shut the fuck up, Lilian. Reserve your comment till you get yourself tossed aside by Kelvin." Diana said, her face tight and her eyes wide.
Both girls indulged themselves in a staring competition before Lilian decided to back down, allowing the other girls to breathe a sigh of relief.
'You know what? Let's just end it here, I'd continue with the story later." Diana declared and got grunts of disapproval from the girls.
'Take your time," Becky said.
'Yeah, take your sweet time," Lilian added.
If Diana noticed the sarcasm in Lilian's voice, she didn't show it; she merely looked at them with her red-rimmed eyes and tear-stained face before opening her mouth to talk, closing it again, and after deciding, she opened her mouth again.
'I need to get back at her and I need your suggestions."
Lilian gave a dirty smirk, 'You have the right people for that, but first, you'd have to tell us what went down tonight to enable us to know the extent we would go."
Diana could have cussed out at Lilian but she bit the bullet and kept it in.
'I faked an urgency after he opened the door and took him away from his room, not without making a Moon trip. Down the stairs…"
'How long did he take? What was her state of being?" Lilian interrupted.
Giving her a middle finger, Diana hesitates at the mental image before robotically saying, 'I didn't look at the time, but he took his sweet time before opening the door. She looked disheveled."
Smirking, Lilian nodded.
'I confess to him, but he told me off and warned me back off Moon before rushing up the stairs into her room this time around." Dina ended, looking at the surprised faces of her friends.
'Are you sure that is all?" Amira asked.
Diana's heart skipped a bit. 'Yes. Why?"
'Nothing."
'Right. Listen up girls, I have a perfect plan." Lilian said and soon, they had their head put together to prepare something for Moon.
