I pulled my leg away, disgusted by Vivian's feigned victim act.
"The moment you stood by and watched Chloe get bullied, I decided to kick you out of the Evans family for good!"
Vivian refused to give up. The more arrogant she was earlier, the more shameless she became now.

"Charles, please, give me a chance. I just made a mistake any woman could make!"
"I'll quit the industry. I'll focus on being with you and our child, okay?"
Hearing her words only made me feel worse.
Back when I first met her, I poured everything into making her a star. But then she claimed no one was home to take care of our daughter's well-being.
I gave her all the authority and resources the company could offer, but I never expected this.
She brought her first love into my office and slept with him. Isabella was the one who told me—even though she didn't want me to misunderstand her intentions, she still told me the truth.

I stayed home, dedicated to raising our daughter, while she used my resources to support her white moonlight.
Just then, the PR team behind Isabella called over a group of reporters.
They prepared to interview me. Dressed in a suit, I stood in front of the cameras, accepting the microphones handed to me.
I took one and began to speak.

"My name is Charles Evans. I am the hidden owner of Summit Pictures. My ex-wife is Vivian Evans, the top actress under Summit. I apologize for occupying public resources today, but I want to make one thing clear, what you see and hear isn't necessarily the truth!"
