I adjusted my glasses and said nothing.
Liam immediately stepped forward, puffing out his chest proudly.
"See this, Charles? That's Summit's PR and legal team. Today, you and your daughter caused a scene, spread lies, and impersonated executives. Now that they're here, there's no mercy for you!"
Liam grew more excited as he spoke, gloating at me. "I called them here!"
Hearing this, I couldn't help but laugh coldly. Looking at the messages from PR and legal on my phone, I found it ridiculous.
Liam, still oblivious, gazed adoringly at Vivian, not noticing her tension. She was still worried about my earlier threat.
"Vivi, I know you've wanted to be rid of him. I've arranged everything for you!"
Vivian's eyes widened in disbelief. She was about to yell at Liam when the people from the cars walked right past me and headed straight for her.
The group addressed her with utmost respect. "Ms. Evans, we received a call from the executive assistant about someone damaging the company's reputation here."
Vivian breathed a sigh of relief, shooting me a triumphant look. "It's these two. Deal with them properly."
