"Vivi, what is he talking about?"
I ignored Liam's question and kept my gaze locked on Vivian. "Didn't you hear my question, Actress Vivian?"
Cornered, her eyes darted away for a second before she defiantly wrapped her arms around Liam and his son.

"What business is it of yours if I'm here with my husband and child for the spring outing?"
Liam shot me a condescending glance, a trace of mockery in his eyes, before turning to gaze adoringly at Vivian gently stroking the child's head.
The parents and teachers surrounding them couldn't stop gushing.
"Such a perfect family of three, flaunting their love right on camera!"
"Exactly! Even with her busy filming schedule, she still made time to come with her husband for their son's activity. What a model family!"
They then turned their attention back to me, their expressions dripping with even more contempt.

"Honestly, trying to sabotage the actress's family life in front of a national audience!"
"Look at him—how dare you even try to hit on her? Everyone knows Vivian's husband is the head of Summit Pictures, the mastermind behind her success. A stay-at-home dad from a broken home like him isn't even in the same league!"
Just then, Vivian mouthed two words from across the crowd, "Make-up Voucher."
Seeing what she mouthed, I froze.

Back when she was chasing me, Vivian had proposed to me ninety-nine times, and I rejected her every single time.
I thought she'd given up, but on the 100th attempt, Vivian gathered all my family and friends and vowed in front of everyone.
