I laughed.”If I hadn’t sold,I’d be suffering.You promised Judy at dinner,not me.”
She was so rebutted by me that she couldn’t say a word. She just gritted her teeth and gasped for breath. I ignored her and went to do my own work. Later, she didn’t dare to complain in front of me and instead found another colleague to talk to.
A week later,Mom called.”Lily says her nudes are online—probably Noah. Karen is fighting with Judy. Come over after work.”
