Funny how cousin loved playing the generous saint—with my suffering as her currency. This Time,I Let Her Face the Consequences
My cousin Lily always used me to play the generous benefactor.
Her best friend was getting married and asked her to be a bridesmaid. On the wedding day, she said she wasn’t feeling well and asked me to replace her at the last minute. I was taken advantage of by several groomsmen.

When a relative complained their kid didn’t want to dorm but lived far from school,Lily offered to help—by dumping him at my place.
The kid was a delinquent who secretly filmed me and sold the photos online.
When I threatened to call the police,Lily said,”He’s family,just a kid—let it go.”
My colleague’s younger brother couldn’t find a partner, and my cousin guaranteed that she could solve the problem. Later, she drugged me, and someone raped me while I was unconscious. She even specifically instructed them to record a video so that I would marry her colleague’s brother.
I was imprisoned by a violent man, abused, and, refusing to bear his child,I bit through my wrist to die.
When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day of the wedding.

“Claire,next Sunday,my best friend Emma’s getting married.I’m her bridesmaid—you have to come!”
Lily’s familiar voice jolted me.
I touched my flat belly. There were no handcuffs locked around my feet, and the room wasn’t a stinking pigsty.
I was actually lucky enough to be reborn.

Last life,Lily called me,saying Emma’s wedding needed guests for gifts.
When I arrived at the scene, she claiming illness, and she took off her bridesmaid dress and gave it to me, asking me to replace her. I saw that she really did look in pain, so I agreed to her request. At the banquet, several groomsmen kept pouring alcohol for me. If I hadn’t secretly poured it out, I would have been drunk long ago. There were four groomsmen on the groom’s side, but I was the only bridesmaid on the bride’s side.
After dinner, they leered, using”wedding games”as an excuse to grope me,hands slipping into my dress. They wanted more, proposing a game:guess the bridesmaid’s underwear color for a three-minute kiss.
I firmly disagreed, but I couldn’t withstand the fact that they outnumbered me.Moreover, no one here knew me, and no one spoke up for me. I begged Lily and desperately give her meaningful looks. She ignored me,locking the door to trap me.
One guy’s touch emboldened the rest.If I hadn’t fought,I’d have lost more than dignity.
“Claire, you listening? This is my best friend’s big day—we need to show up!”
Lily’s louder voice snapped me back.
“Next Sunday?”I asked.
She huffed,”You’ve got no friends,no boyfriend—what day aren’t you free?”
Lily has been like this since she was a child. She always acts superior and is always bossy to me.
It’s just because in junior high school, when I was in middle school,Mom got sick, and we needed$1,000 for surgery.
Lily’s mom,my Aunt Karen,lent it,though her family was less well-off.
Karen envied Dad’s success and our stable home.
When Mom fell ill,Karen gloated, mocking Dad:”Thought you were a big shot—can’t even scrape together a grand?”
In fact, my parents had bought two houses a few years ago, but it would be too much of a loss to sell them at that time. My father thought we were all relatives, but he didn’t expect to be humiliated.
Since then,Karen has always had an inexplicable sense of superiority in our family and even claimed to be the savior of our family. Under the influence of my aunt, Lily also thought she was superior to me.
I used to brush off her”princess”attitude.
After dying,I learned she hated me to her core.
This life, every bit of harm she did to me, I will make her pay it back!
Let someone else be the forgiving saint.
I’d be petty, guarding every inch of my peace.
Lily was still chattering on, and all her words were meant to belittle me.
I cut in,”Fine,I’ll be there Sunday.”
