Chapter 172

At this time, in the villa in the eastern suburbs, Daisy suddenly woke up from her dream and subconsciously looked to the side.

There was no one, everything was empty, unlike what she felt, Daisy couldn't help but sadly lower her eyes, last night she felt a familiar warmth embracing her, and she also heard a deep voice lulling her to sleep.

She heard and felt clearly that it was Atlas but why when she woke up, everything disappeared? Daisy unconsciously looked into the air, did she miss him so much that she imagined he was always by her side? Why did that feeling feel so real? If it was a dream, she wouldn't wake up and stay in his warmth forever.

Mrs. Cara walked in and saw that her daughter was awake but still sitting there in a daze, she couldn't help but painfully call out to her: "Daisy."

Daisy was still immersed in her worries when she heard someone calling her, she raised her head and saw that it was her mother, she adjusted her emotions and asked: "Mom, what happened to me yesterday?"

"You don't eat much and only snack, that's why you have a stomachache. The doctor told you to eat more nutritious food and limit those things. I've put away all the snacks, don't expect to eat them anymore."

Mrs. Cara said sternly.

"I know, but it's okay to crave a little food sometimes."

Daisy looked at her mother.

Mrs. Cara still had a serious face and said: "I still have to see how you are."

"Okay, I'm hungry, do you have anything for me to eat?"

Daisy didn't care about this anymore, she rubbed her stomach and asked.

"I cooked porridge for you. I'll go down and reheat it and bring it up for you."

Mrs. Cara finished speaking and quickly left the room.

Daisy didn't sit on the bed for long, she lifted the blanket off, got out of bed, and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face.

After eating, she didn't wait for Mrs. Cara to bring the porridge up, she went downstairs. Mrs. Cara saw her and said: "The porridge is still a bit boiling, wait a moment, do you want something to drink so I can make it for you?"

"No need, I'll go out and sit for a while, when the porridge is done, please let me know."

The smell of strawberry smoke in the kitchen made her feel a little nauseous, so she went out to breathe some fresh air.

Sitting down on the sofa, she conveniently picked up the remote control and turned on the TV to relieve her boredom. The TV just turned on and happened to be showing the Drkov Group's news channel. Daisy didn't change the channel but just sat there quietly watching.

Although she didn't know much about the Drkov Group, she still had to see what it was like. Who would have thought she would hear Dalziel on the screen saying he would sell the Drkov Group and Drkov's house?

What happened? What happened during the nearly half month she was away from home? Daisy looked at the screen again, a reporter asked where Mr. Drkov was, and did he agreed to sell Drkov's house, but Dalziel calmly said that he had given him full authority.

This was impossible, she would never believe that Atlas's grandfather would hand over the corporation and the house to Dalziel.

However, he took out the company transfer contract with the middle-aged man beside him.

Daisy looked worriedly, she wanted to know what happened, but unfortunately, she didn't have a phone to call anyone.

Too desperate, Daisy went out to ask the two bodyguards to borrow their phones.

"Can any of you lend me your phone for a moment?"

The two bodyguards looked at each other and one of them said, "What do you need the phone for?"

"I have something urgent, please."

Daisy was confused, she had to at least call her grandfather or Heulwen.

The two bodyguards heard this and were wondering whether to lend her their phone or not when a voice rang out: "Can I use your phone?"

Daisy looked at the middle-aged man who was smiling at her in surprise and asked: "Who are you?"

The two bodyguards bowed when they saw this person: "Boss."

The middle-aged man smiled and said: "As you heard, I am the owner of this villa, you can call me Uncle Finn."

Daisy was a little stunned and asked: "What about the masked man?"

"He is my nephew."

Finn replied.

Daisy was half-believing, but borrowing a phone was more important, so she said: "If you don't mind, let me borrow your phone for a moment."

"Of course not."

Finn took out his silver phone, pressed his fingerprint, and handed it to her.

"Hey, little girl."

Daisy picked up the phone and immediately called Mr. Drkov, but after three busy times, she called Heulwen again, and the result was the same.

Daisy was so worried that she was in a mess, she thought about who else she could call, and finally called Winifred.

This time someone picked up the phone, she breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Winifred, it's me, Daisy."

"Daisy, is it you, how are you? Heulwen said you're fine, but I'm still worried about you, is everything okay?"

Winifred's cheerful voice rang out from the other end of the line.

"I'm fine, thank you for your concern."

Daisy didn't expect Winifred to be worried about her.

"It's good that you're fine."

"Winifred, forget about this, I want to ask you about the Drkov Group and Drkov's house, where is Grandpa, why could Dalziel sell the villa without permission."

Daisy quickly asked.

Winifred sighed again on the other end of the line: 'I don't know how this happened, I divorced Dalziel ten days ago, then I went to Drkov's house…"

Winifred recounted the events of that day to Daisy, the more she listened, the more her eyebrows gradually furrowed, and she asked again: 'Have you been able to contact Heulwen?"

'Since that day, I haven't contacted him anymore, just now when I heard the news about Drkov Group, I also called him but couldn't contact him."

Winifred said.'Okay, I know, thank you, I'm hanging up."

Daisy finished speaking and hung up without giving Winifred a chance to ask anything more.

She handed the phone back to Finn and said, "Thank you."

"It's nothing, you seem to be worried about something, right?"

Finn asked casually.

"I couldn't call my family, so I'm a little worried."

Daisy said rudely.

Finn smiled and said, "Don't worry, everything is fine, you will have a surprise today, okay, I won't bother you anymore."

Finn said something meaningful and left. Daisy looked at him blankly for a long time before going inside.

On the TV, she saw Dalziel and the man beside her looking at some documents. She stood there motionless, her heart filled with worry.
