Chapter 59

1060words
Entering the house, she went to the kitchen first. Aunt Sam saw her carrying the bag, and she quickly took it, saying: "Are you going to the supermarket? This should be left to me. You don't have to go anywhere, if you want to buy anything just tell me."

'I was at work so I stopped by the supermarket to buy some. That's right, no need to cook dinner for me and Atlas tonight, I'll cook it myself."

'Ah, you want to cook it yourself but with your hands…"

Aunt Sam said, looking at Daisy's bandaged hand.

"I'm okay, just slightly injured. I'll ask Nancy for help later."

Daisy seemed to be watching the maid picking vegetables over there. Hearing that, she couldn't help but glare at Daisy angrily but didn't dare to refute. After the recent incident, she always looked for an opportunity to take revenge on Daisy but could not.

Even so, she had been adjusted many times to the point of fatigue, so she still felt resentful in her heart.

Daisy ignored Nancy's eyes and returned to the bathroom.

When she entered the room, she saw Atlas sitting by the window. Strangely, she saw the window curtains pulled down. Is he watching the rain? She opened her mouth and said: "I'm back."

The man did not answer her and did not show any signs. Daisy was used to it so it was unusual for him to answer.

She felt cold so she didn't pay attention to him anymore, quickly found some clothes and went into the bathroom.

The bathroom door closed, and a man tilted his head and looked towards the bathroom door. He couldn't help but speak when he heard her voice, his heart beat so fast.

Just now he wanted to ignore her, but for some reason, he asked Linus to bring her an umbrella. What's wrong with him? Why should he care about that woman?

Atlas was no longer in the mood so he pulled down the curtains and immersed himself in darkness. He originally hated light, but since she appeared, he discovered that he was gradually changing.

He didn't want to change anything, he just wanted to immerse himself in his world like before, but there was a voice calling him out, he didn't know where this voice came from, he resisted many times but was futile.

How much he hated himself now, all because of that woman's appearance. Atlas leaned back, closing his eyes tightly.

'Atlas."

A voice coming from the bathroom made him open his eyes. He instinctively looked towards the bathroom door, only to see someone's small head sticking out. Seeing him looking this way, she said shyly: "That, I forgot to bring a towel, can you get it for me? I hung it right on the closet door."

She entered in such a hurry that she forgot about this. After showering, she was about to get a towel to dry, then realized she hadn't brought it in yet.

Now she has nothing to dry herself with and she can't take his towel either.

Atlas just looked at her without moving for a moment then turned away as if he had no intention of taking it.

Daisy bit her lip, knowing it would be difficult, so she said, 'Hey, I'll take it, don't look back."

There was no other way, there were two people in the room, Atlas couldn't help her, she could only survive on her own.

Seeing that the man was silent, she knew he had heard her words so she opened the door, covered her chest with one hand, and then tiptoed to the wardrobe. She was about to get a towel when she heard a knock on the door outside. Her body stiffened, unable to react.

'Young master, I brought you the documents."That was Linus's voice.

'Don't come in here."

'You are not allowed in."

Two voices rang out at the same time, one urgent, one cold. Daisy couldn't help but look at Atlas. At this moment, his eyes were looking over here, and their eyes suddenly met.

Daisy was naked and he was looking at her. She couldn't help but sit down in panic to avoid his eyes.

'Why are you looking back, quickly, look away."

Daisy has never felt as embarrassed as she does now. She felt hot all over her body.

Atlas just glanced at her and then turned back. He was also not interested in her.

'Hurry and get dressed."

His voice was a bit gloomy.

Hearing that, Daisy raised her head to look at him. Seeing him turn his back on her, she quickly grabbed a towel and ran back to the bathroom. The door closed tightly, and behind the door, Daisy gasped.

Atlas frowned slightly, then opened his mouth to call the person outside to come in.

Linus heard the person inside permit opening the door and walking in, holding a stack of documents in his hand.

'Master, I have been investigated, you see it."

Linus gives the documents to Atlas. He reached out to take it but didn't read it, just thoughtfully looked at the document in his hand.

He was a little hesitant but didn't know what he was hesitating about. Is he afraid of knowing the truth, afraid of knowing that woman's purpose? Atlas hugged the documents tightly for the first time. Faced with something like this, he was a little hesitant, this was not his style.

This made him angry with himself, there was something he couldn't see, whatever that woman's purpose was, he had already planned in his heart, right? Thinking so, his long fingers wanted to flip through the documents, but just as the bathroom door opened, Atlas's fingers lightly stopped in midair.

'You go out first."

He ordered Linus.

He quickly walked out, Daisy looked at Atlas a little confused.

She had never encountered such an embarrassing situation before. She said embarrassedly: "I went to the kitchen to cook."

Atlas was the only person left in the room. Just now he almost looked at the document.

But when he saw Daisy walking out of the silkworm room, he didn't want to look anymore and put the documents aside.

No matter what that woman's purpose is, just don't let her get close to him. Atlas thought so, so he stopped looking at the documents.
