Chapter 23

The next day was Monday, Daisy had to meet with the editor-in-chief to discuss the new manuscript, so she got up very early. After brushing her teeth and washing her face, she saw that the man in bed had woken up.

She looked at the wall clock, six thirty. Today he woke up later than usual. She felt a bit strange and asked: "Did you sleep late last night?"

According to her two days of observation, he always woke up before her. When she opened her eyes, he was nowhere to be seen.

Daisy was worried, but Atlas just looked at her coldly. When he woke up in the morning and saw a woman in the room, he was still unfamiliar with it.

Daisy seemed to be used to seeing his eyes, so she asked again: "Do you want me to help you get out of bed?"

'Get away from me for a bit."

Perhaps because Atlas had just woken up, his voice was a bit hoarse.

She just wanted to help him. If he didn't want to, she wouldn't force him to do unnecessary things and say: "That's right, I'll go out later to do something."

'No need to tell me where you are going, you better leave my house."

Still in that disdainful tone.

Daisy looked pitiful and said: 'I am your legal wife, how can you kick me out like that?"

"You better stop acting. I told you I won't marry you, so you are not my wife."

He gritted his teeth at the word "Wife".

He hated this word the most, especially when it came from this woman's mouth.

'I said, if I were to marry you, then, I would be your wife. Don't worry, even if you chase me away a hundred times, I won't leave."

Daisy leaned against the wall with her arms crossed, the corner of her mouth smiling.

Atlas narrowed his eyes at her and said: "What benefits did my grandfather give you? I will give you double if you leave here."

Hearing that, Daisy stroked her chin and pondered: "What's the use? There's so much, money, jewelry, houses..."

Atlas didn't hear what she said. He coldly told her: "That's all? Okay, I'll give you everything as long as you leave here immediately."

Daisy looked at him as if saying nothing: "I haven't finished talking yet. Besides those things, there is also something very important. I think you don't have double to give it to me."

Atlas smiled coldly, there was nothing in this world that he couldn't have. Although he is no longer the CEO of Drkov Group, he has not lost everything. He was still the young master of the Drkov family, so even though he became disabled, Dalziel and his mother did not forgive him.

'Tell me, what else is going on?"

It seemed like Atlas just wanted to get rid of her as quickly as possible.

Looking at his nervous appearance, Daisy smiled and pointed at him, saying: "It's you."

Atlas didn't understand what she said. Daisy explained: "Grandpa even gave me a husband. It's you. Can you create two Atlases for me?"

Her voice has some charm.

'Daisy."

Atlas was initially stunned, but when he understood, he roared angrily.

'It's me, is something wrong?"

Daisy still hasn't stopped teasing him, the angry lion is scary but a bit cute.

Atlas's face turned red like boiled shrimp. He conveniently picked up the pillow next to him and threw it at her: "Go out."

Even though he threw it very hard, it was just a pillow so Daisy still caught it easily. She hugged the pillow in her arms and said, "You're so full of energy this morning."

Atlas still wanted to throw things, but Daisy walked in front of him. She put the pillow on the bed and gently said: "I'm going out to clean up and have breakfast."

Having finished speaking, she quickly walked out. As soon as she opened the door, she saw the teenager from yesterday. This time his eyes looked a bit strange at her but he didn't say a word and went straight inside.

Daisy doesn't care. She went to her grandfather's room to ask him for permission to let her go out, but as soon as she reached the second floor, she encountered Dalziel.

'Sister-in-law, good morning."

Dalziel greeted her and walked step by step towards her. He deliberately leaned close to her ear and said: "I heard that you live very well with my brother. I didn't think that you could still be in the same room with him. Be careful at night, watch out for my brother killing you and hiding your corpse."

Daisy didn't like someone being so close to her. She instinctively moved aside in disgust and said in a low voice: "What the hell are you talking about?"

'I'm just warning you, my brother just almost killed two servants. If you don't believe it, you can ask the servant here."

Dalziel said and looked at her expression.

Daisy just frowned, she didn't say anything, and her expression remained normal. Dalziel didn't believe she wasn't afraid. He added: "Actually, you don't need to be afraid. My brother only goes crazy from time to time, but no one knows when. Well, good luck."

Is Atlas sick? Daisy had doubts in her heart. Mr. Drkov only told her that Atlas's personality was a bit strange, not that he was sick. She didn't completely trust Dalziel's words.

Entering Mr. Drkov's office, she greeted him, then asked him directly about this.

After listening to the story, Mr. Drkov frowned and said: "Dalziel's words are true, but there is no way Atlas killed anyone. That kid is just exaggerating. I will teach him again."

'Where is the exact point you speak of?"

Daisy asked curiously. After all, she determined that her living with Atlas meant she had to know everything about him. She thought she should start finding out now.

'Half a year ago, there was a servant who brought tea to Atlas. She accidentally poured hot water on Atlas. You also know his temper, at that time Atlas thought that the servant did it on purpose, so he couldn't help but strangle her, almost killing her, but fortunately, Linus stopped him."

Hearing that, Daisy didn't react much, she just frowned slightly and asked: "What about the other person?"
