Chapter 18

Atlas showed no signs of moving so Daisy picked up a vase and threw it straight forward.

The sound of the ceramic vase colliding with the floor created a deafening noise. Atlas's eyes widened. Before he could react, Daisy threw a second one. She didn't know what it was but she seemed interested.

After throwing all the things on the ground, she happily said: 'I also like to throw things, I throw very well, I don't blame you for liking it that way. Next time you want to throw, remember to invite me."

"You…"

Atlas gritted his teeth and looked at her.

"I threw for you and now it's your turn to eat."

Daisy picked up the bowl of rice again and wanted to feed him.

This time, Atlas did not struggle anymore. Instead, he cooperated a little and opened his mouth slightly. Daisy was extremely pleased and fed him rice with meat and vegetables.

Two people, one feeding the other, in a room with only the sound of eating and drinking, no other noises.

While eating, Atlas kept staring as if he was looking for something.

Feeling his gaze, Daisy did not react. Just this man-eating is enough.

While feeding him, a piece or two of rice stuck to the corner of his mouth, so she used a tissue to gently wipe it away.

Atlas's body stiffened slightly, his face tilted to one side. Seeing that the bowl of rice was empty, she took another bowl. Although she didn't know how much he had to eat, he was a man and had no small appetite, so she dug out another bowl of rice to feed him.

Outside, the maids who couldn't hear the noise inside looked at each other suspiciously, no one knew what was going on inside.

'Hey, why isn't she out yet?"

Some people couldn't help but ask.

'Who knows, maybe you were knocked unconscious by the first young master. Damn it, who does she think she is? Less than a few days after becoming daughter-in-law, she caused chaos in the Drkov household."

It cannot be said that this maid is extremely prejudiced against Daisy.

At that moment, the door suddenly opened. The servants were so busy talking that they didn't notice this. When Daisy walked out, everyone was stunned.

'First lady."

A maid stammered in fear.

Daisy glanced at the three people in front of her. The door was only slightly closed so she could hear someone outside.

Seeing her eyes, almost everyone was scared, some were unwilling.

'What are you doing here? Did the Drkov family hire you just to eavesdrop on other people's conversations?"

Daisy's expression was a bit cold, making people shiver.

All three people huddled together, holding each other's clothes, no one dared to speak, her eyes made them neither look nor speak.

'What, why didn't anyone say anything? You were still very enthusiastic just now, right?"

Daisy snorted coldly, she had to teach them a lesson, otherwise they would eavesdrop next time. That man's temper is not good. If he knew someone was eavesdropping, he would go crazy.

'First lady, we were just passing by by chance, we didn't mean to eavesdrop."

The maid quickly spoke up.

'If you don't know the reason, it's best to stay silent. The first young master's office is at the end of the hallway. What do you mean by passing by? When speaking, you also have to think, not everything can be said. Also, didn't anyone tell you that eavesdropping has to be done in silence?"

"You eavesdropped and talked a lot, and didn't even have the slightest bit of technique, so don't imitate others in doing these sneaky things. I'll forgive you this time, but if there's a next time …"

Daisy stopped talking halfway. She hadn't finished speaking and they understood.

No one in the group dared to say a word. They looked down, their heads almost touching the floor.

Daisy was a little satisfied, knowing that it was good to be scared. She didn't say another word but walked past them and left.

The three maids no longer felt anyone's presence here before they dared to raise their faces.

'Who does she think she is to talk to us like that? I'll go talk to Mrs. Nenito."

One person couldn't control the anger in her heart, so she immediately went upstairs.

The two looked at each other and quickly left the place. They did not dare to stay long. After all, behind this room there is someone even scarier.

On the second floor, Mrs. Nenito heard the maid report Daisy's incident, and her expression became even more unsightly.

'She doesn't dare to put my words in her eyes, right, very arrogant."

Seeing Mrs. Nenito angry, she continued: "That's right, you don't know, at that time her face was extremely proud and also very boastful, not taking anyone seriously. She also taught us all kinds of things. She seems to consider herself the mistress of Drkov's house, which is hateful."

Mrs. Nenito became even more thoughtful. When she became the daughter-in-law of the Drkov family, she was still embarrassed. She didn't dare to speak but had to look at Mr. Drkov's face, but from the first day, this girl was so arrogant.

She thought she had Mr. Drkov behind her. Mrs. Nenito will never let her do whatever she wants.

'Oalie, you told the first lady to come here and see me."

Mrs. Nenito ordered with a calm expression.

Hearing that, Oralie was a little happy when Daisy was about to encounter disaster. Mrs. Nenito called her to her room, she would teach her a lesson.

But when Oralie went to look for Daisy, she was at Mr. Drkov's place so she had to wait half an hour.

Every time Daisy faced Mr. Drkov, she appeared calm and this made him appreciate her and choose her to be his nephew's wife.

Atlas's personality is the most obvious to Mr. Drkov. If he puts such a timid person next to Atlas, Mr. Drkov is afraid they will not be able to suppress Atlas.
