Chapter 8

Because the voice sounded suddenly, Daisy was a little startled but she wasn't to the point of screaming. Then, through a little light outside, she saw the silhouette of a man with a wheelchair, his back turned to her.

Moreover, the room was dark, she couldn't see anything, but Daisy guessed that person was Atlas, her husband.

As she looked at the man's back, she saw a look of pain radiating from his body, and also a bit of... loneliness.

Whether it was because she was sensitive or not, she looked at him like a lonely wolf in the dark. That wolf looked into the distance, his silhouette reminded her of herself ten years ago.

Daisy didn't leave, but on the contrary, she opened her mouth to introduce herself. 'Hello, Atlas."

'I am Daisy, your wife."

In the darkness came a cold laugh: 'Wife? I don't need it, you can go out."

Daisy pretended not to understand, she said: "From now on I will live with you right in this room, I hope you will help me."

Having been chased away by this man three times, Daisy still had a calm attitude, she could speak so clearly. She's so brave.

Atlas said sarcastically: 'You ask a disabled person like me to help you? This is truly a joke. I don't marry you and I don't need a wife like you."

'Even though you didn't attend the wedding, you can't deny that I'm your wife. You can ignore me, Mr. Drkov held a proper wedding ceremony, you don't need this marriage but it's true. Furthermore, I will help you."

After all, she entered this house with the main purpose of taking care of this man.

'I don't need you to help me. You look down on me because I'm disabled so I can't take care of myself?"

Atlas suddenly turned the wheel of the wheelchair around, his eyes bright and sharp, looking coldly at her.

Hearing him mention 'disabled', Daisy instinctively looked down at his legs.

Atlas is very sensitive to other people's eyes looking at his feet. Seeing her searching eyes, he felt even more uncomfortable, he said: "If you look at my feet, I will gouge out your eyes."

Daisy laughed, she said: 'Your eyes are very bright, it's very dark but do you know what I'm looking at? I don't see anything, let me turn on the light."

'No, if you dare turn on the light, I will kill you."

Atlas growled, he didn't like light, because as long as there was light, people would look at his disabled legs. At that time, he just wanted to gouge out their eyes, no one was allowed to look at his legs.

She could hear the slight impatience and trembling in his voice, but Daisy still didn't care. She found the switch and without hesitation turned it on. The room suddenly lit up, causing a man immersed in darkness to roar angrily: "Who told you to turn on the light? Get out."

Atlas suddenly frantically threw things at her. Daisy instinctively avoided it. Because she was wearing a wedding dress, her movements were difficult and she almost fell to the ground.

His scream was so loud that it startled the servants watching outside.

A maid spoke up: "Let's make a bet, when will the young lady be kicked out?"

'I guess soon, less than three seconds."

The servants were all eagerly waiting for the bride to be kicked out, some even started counting the seconds.

Inside the room, there seemed to be no more objects to throw, so the man stopped, his eyes cold, and looked at her.

The two of them faced each other. Daisy now clearly saw the man in front of her. Even though she had seen this man countless times through the press and the media, when she met him in real life, it was very different.

In the photos, he is an arrogant, cold, and extremely talented general manager. He stands tall in the marketplace, everyone who looks at him must admire him.

However, right now he is just a disabled person sitting in a wheelchair with an angry face, no one cares about him.

Daisy could see him panting, this man had a beautiful, flawless face, his eyes, nose, lips, and mouth were all symmetrical, especially his straight and high nose bridge made her fall in love with him as soon as she saw his picture in the newspaper. At first, she thought someone edited his face, but she didn't expect that in real life, he was even more beautiful than in the photo.

Engrossed in gazing and evaluating the man in front of him. She didn't know that Atlas' face had darkened, and his body was shaking even more violently, there was a book left on the table, and he threw it at her.

Daisy not only didn't dodge it but she grabbed it. She walked towards him step by step. This man had a hot temper.

'You are not a child, why are you throwing things around like that, these things are very expensive."

Daisy said as she put the book back in its place.

Atlas was a little surprised by her movements, she grasped everything very precisely. He stopped throwing and stared at her, he was wary.

What does this woman want to do? She was still wearing her wedding dress, so she walked very slowly. When she passed the wheelchair, he could smell the scent of daisy, wafting into his nose. He felt a little comfortable.

Daisy looked at him and thought, she didn't know how to address him. If she called him by his name, this man would get angry, and she couldn't call him like other normal couples.

Finally, she said: "Young master, tonight is our wedding, what do you want?"

Atlas returned to his original appearance, he repeated. "Get out."

'There is a sentence like that, don't say it anymore, I said that from now on I will share this room with you."

Hearing that, Atlas's forehead was full of blue veins. He wanted to scream, but Daisy noticed it and spoke first.
