Chapter 56

Aiden had walked to the gate and found it open, the pack members of the Bloodmoon pack walking in and out of it, everyone had something to say.

They were gathered in small groups.

Walking towards a busy hall, someone held his shoulder, he was ready to throw a punch when the feminine perfume hit his nose.

'Hello, handsome?" She had fox eyes and bold makeup; the red on her fingers reminded him of Diana.

He didn't want to talk to her, the image of Diana in pain just in front of the pack house kept replaying in his head, but he knew he needed her if he wanted to be safe.

'Are you a new face?" She asked, her smile revealing a dazzling gap in between her teeth.

'You can say so." He put on his charm, his eyes scanning everywhere.

'Oh cool! We are always open to welcome in new members." She immediately hooked her hand in his and took him into the hall.

'I am Serenity." She introduced, looking forward.

'I am handsome." He replied, not even sparing her a glance.

'I love your humor." Were her words, taking him to an empty table.

'What's going on?" He pointed his head back to the door.

'Oh! that." She sucked her teeth.

'Our Alpha brought home a girl." She said, Aiden's breath caught in his throat.

'Some say she is the Alpha's mate, some say she is just a fling." She raised her hand, signaling to the waiter.

'See that girl over there." Serenity pointed towards the corner of the hall.

Aiden followed the direction of her finger and saw a figure strikingly similar to Moon. Not thinking, he stood to his feet and was ready to approach her till he saw her drown large gulps of alcohol from a bottle.

He paused, Moon would never do something like that and still be cool. She caught his eye, frowned, and showed him a middle finger.

He sneered at her before sitting back on his seat just in time to see the waiter back.

Serenity had her eyebrow raised at him.

'What?"

'You are here to take her back."

'Not her." Aiden's frustration wasn't subtle; his thumb finger pointed toward the direction of Harper over his shoulder.

'I know. Her." Serenity rolled her eyes.

'You are a spy." She wasn't smiling this time.

'Not a spy. She is my love interest." He responded he wasn't smiling too.

'Interesting." She relaxed on her seat, looking at him with a subtle smile on her lips, her hand playing with the tablecloth.

'She was the Alpha's toy and seeing you mistake her for someone else proves Jayden's words to be true."

'I love danger." She smirked.

Aiden began to feel uncomfortable, he needed to leave before something unpleasant happened. He was in already, he was sure he could find his way out. Locating the Alpha's room shouldn't be an issue.

'Not so fast Handsome." Serenity banged her hand on the table.

Aiden's eyes widened a bit when he saw her eye color change into green from the initial black color.

'I could blow your cover and make sure you never get back to your pack." She smirked, Aiden didn't know what got into him but he felt himself start getting hot.

'You won't dare."

'Watch me." She gave a harmless smile that spoke a thousand words synonymous with danger.

'I had seen you walk through the gate, Handsome, and just so you know, I am a senior guard." She crinkled her nose when the waiter brought in a mini bucket full of ice and two black bottles.

'I only allowed you in here because I could sense your intentions already."

'We are on the same path. Just like every other female here, I want a share of the Alpha." She corked the bottle open, took the glasses from the waiter, and waved him off.

'What's your deal?" Aiden asked suddenly getting nervous at the mysterious aura oozing from her.

'Have sex with me." She offered the half-filled gas to him.

He sat on the stool looking at her, but she still stretched the glass towards him, acting like what she said wasn't audacious; he was taken aback.

'I take it that you are not interested then." She chuckled, drowning the content of the glass in one goal.

'Are you in?" She poured another one for herself.

'That…"

'It's either you are in, or you are out." She told him, this time sipping the alcoholic drink from her glass.

Her fox-like eyes were trained on him; he felt trapped, he felt hot, there was something in the air.

'I am not forcing you but if you don't comply; get ready to be held hostage." She hid her smile behind her glass.

Aiden didn't know when he reached out for the empty glass, uncorked the bottle of alcohol, and poured it in.

Without looking at the name of the alcohol or the glass itself, he drowned the content of the glass till the last drop.

Serenity giggled, the glass still on her lips as she stared at him.

'What's your take?"

Aiden belched; his face was hot, he was already sweating, and he felt extremely uncomfortable.

'If we are done, I will lead you straight to her." She set the glass down, folded her hands on top of the table, and stared straight at him.

'You have two minutes." She smiled.

He looked at her and suddenly found her fox eyes seductive, her full lips drew him closer to her. Her oval face and a little plump cheeks made him want to touch it.

He looked away from her face, as he fought to control himself. What was wrong with him?

'You have one minute left." She smiled again, drumming her fingers on the table.

'Don't fight it, it would be torture." She sighed, her eyes were half closed still looking at him.

Denoting what she meant, his eyes widened at the half bottle of wine on the table.

'You have finally figured it out, I guess." She took another gulp.

'40 seconds left."

The noises from the hall made him feel irritated, they vibrated in his head and made it hurt.

He felt dizzy, too; her face split into two, then four; nothing made sense to him anymore.

'For the record, you weren't drugged. You are the outcome of your recklessness, but it makes the work easy by the way."

'You look too hot to be punished for trespassing." Her sultry voice assaulted his ears.

'10 seconds left." She continued.

Someone with curly brown hair, just like Moon, stopped at their table and looked at Aiden with disdain before turning to Serenity.

'I will take this." She took it already and Serenity just nodded at her.

'Quit looking at me like you don't have a hottie right in front of you," Harper said in disdain before marching off but her hand was held.

'Moon?" Aiden was losing it.

He didn't want to have anything to do with a member of the Bloodmoon pack.

'3." Serenity began counting, her eyes dancing with excitement.

'Excuse me?" Harper didn't bother struggling.

'2."

'Do I look like whatever whore you are calling?"

'1."
