"Really?"
Derek's sharp eyes stopped on Cadell, crossing his legs and placing his hands on the sofa behind him.
Just like that, Cadell felt a strong pressure covering him.
He could only persistently answer. "Yes, boss, I'm just going to exercise in the morning, don't think too much."
"Cadell, you disappoint me so much."
A look of fatigue crossed Derek's face. 'Do you think I know nothing?"
Cadell instinctively shook his head. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"The eavesdropping feature on Laura's phone has been removed. What did you use my name to come to S city last night?"
Derek said no-nonsense to him, eyes looking straight at him.
"Could it be that... you've been doubting me for a long time?"
Cadell knelt before him. 'Boss, it's my fault, I shouldn't have done that, please punish me."
"Where did you go when you left X city last night and what did you do? Answer honestly."
Derek suppressed his anger, he stood up and walked in front of Cadell, looking down, his words carrying a warning tone.
"This is your last chance. You also know what the outcome will be for those who betray me."
Cadell fell silent.
After a while, he gritted his teeth, mustered all his courage, raised his head, and looked straight at Derek.
"Boss, don't you think what you're doing is too much? Laura is your fiancée, but you don't care about her."
Derek didn't expect that Cadell would accuse him back, he frowned slightly.
"You protect Bertha like that, but you don't care about your fiancée. You transfer the villa to Bertha, and Laura has to live in the apartment. Is this what a fiancé should do? Laura was harmed by Bertha, she was seriously injured, you didn't even vent your anger to her."
Cadell finished speaking, he looked intently at Derek's serious face.
'Are you done talking?"
Derek touched his watch, Cadell's words did not cause him to react too aggressively. "I ask you one last time, what did you leave X city for? Is it related to Bertha or not?"
Cadell had worked alongside Derek for many years, he was very familiar with Derek's habitual actions.
Cadell knew that Derek was holding back his anger.
Even if he didn't say anything, Derek would send someone to investigate everything, and then place all the responsibility on him.
"Bertha, she's dead. Last night I sent someone to hijack her plane, and she jumped off the plane. She harmed Laura, you can forgive her, but I can't."
"Damned!"
Derek immediately stood up, grabbed Cadell by the collar, and punched him in the face. "Where did she jump? What is the location?"
Cadell was stunned by his boss's punch.
He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and just smiled, not answering.
Derek kicked him in the stomach.
Cadell fell to the ground, he rolled around, and after a while, he held his stomach and tried to stand up.
"I'm so sorry, boss. Even if you beat me to death here today, I won't tell you where Bertha jumped."
'Wait until I find her, I will deal with you later."
After that, Derek strode out of Cadell's apartment. Before leaving, he locked Cadell in the apartment's bedroom and also assigned special bodyguards to watch over Cadell.
After leaving Cadell's apartment, Derek immediately called.
"Pan, immediately send someone to check Bertha's flight last night and find her location, quickly."
He sat in the car and lit a few cigarettes.
When the eighth cigarette was pulled out, the phone finally rang.
He didn't even think, he immediately answered the phone.
"How's it going? Have you found it yet? Last night, her flight went over city X to a large mountain range in the city. She most likely fell there."
Pan on the other end of the phone spoke helplessly. "Hey, I didn't expect this from Cadell. But, that mountain range is very big, if you jumped from the plane, you would have no chance of surviving. Derek, are you sure you want to find it?"
Derek frowned, his dark eyes suddenly shaking uncontrollably. 'To live, you must see people; to die, you must see corpses."
Having finished speaking, he disconnected and drove to that mountain range.

Karlina wants to go to Venn's villa early in the morning to find someone.
But since Venn was always at home, she had to wait until the afternoon for her chance.
She checked Venn's schedule, and after he left the villa and went to the company, she immediately led a few bodyguards and ran to his residence.
'Wait and see, whether you protect Bertha or Olwen, I'll deal with them today.' She sat in the back seat of the Bentley, gritting her teeth and talking.
The Bentley stopped in front of the gate.
As soon as Karlina got out of the car, she was stopped by a few bodyguards who were secretly patrolling outside the villa.
"Ladies, this is Mr. Venn's private home. He has left here. Please wait for him to return before coming to visit." A bodyguard wearing a suit and sunglasses said politely.
'Your eyes are blind, you dare stop me?" Karlina used her eyes to look inside.
Bodyguards blocked her sight. "Please leave. Without Mr. Venn's orders, we cannot let anyone inside."
Karlina was angered by his attitude, she raised her hand and slapped him.
"I tell you, I'm Venn's fiancée. You dare stop me?"
Karlina made her identity clear and she became even more arrogant.
"Even though you're his fiancée, you can't get in without his orders. I hope you don't embarrass us."
Karlina had almost lost all patience. "You're just a bodyguard, what qualifications do you have to stop me? As Venn's fiancée, I suspect that there is another woman in his villa, so I came to check. Avoid coming out and letting me in."
The bodyguards looked at each other, their initial resolute attitude had become a bit hesitant.
Of course, they know that Karlina's status is very noble and cannot be touched. If anything happens, they cannot bear the responsibility.
