A Date with the Haunted Mansion

Abstract

As a paranormal novelist, I inherited the notorious "Thornhill Manor" from a distant relative, originally intending to use it as a lifeline to escape financial difficulties and as a source of creative inspiration. However, when I began documenting the supernatural phenomena in the manor with a scientific approach, I accidentally awakened Silas, a vampire who had been sleeping in the basement for hundreds of years. Soon after, Finn, the forest guardian werewolf, began to see me as a threat after sensing the awakening of dark powers, while Julian, the resident ghost of the manor, communicated with me in his unique way. More terrifying still, the manor itself possessed consciousness—an entity known as the “Eternal Gazer,” which longed to completely absorb me into its will. Faced with different forms of “affection” from four supernatural beings, I must use my creative abilities to rewrite the rules of reality and find a balance between extreme romance and deadly possession.
